For what? They are telling the truth and wanted a full fledged discussion on all issues in Parliament and all the international treaties to be get ratified in Parliament? Is this the way of talking Mr. Critc and all the crticism stated and mentioned in all the fellow readers here in this column. As an Indian (I don't know because you are hiding your identity) we have to be self respect, and try to be an Indian first and Indians should not bow down their heads in shame and should not be standing as a dependent of any foreign countries. We have the wealth, we have the resources and we can be the SUPERPOWER if we have the will in our POWER.

China & pakistan are sworn enemies of india and communists are treading the similar path to ensure that deal nuclear deal does not happen. U can easily make out who is the enemy of the country within.

I doubt whether CPM will be ready to pull the support. They have tasted the fruits of being in power and will never want to be away from that. The are not ready to face an election in Bengal or Kerala as their image are spoiled in both these states by Nandigram and the internal clashes. They will never get half the seats they had.

Don't speak nonesense. These things are just petty politics with reasons. But CPI is acting without any reason whatsoever. Just because USA is the home of capitalism, the CPI is against the 123 agreement. They are ready to sacrifice India's progress for their stupic ideologies. Karl Marx has robbed them of thinking capacity. They are all bunch of useless fools.
Whatever good we could have achieved through the nuclear deal with the United States may be soon lost unless somebody helps these CPI and CPM oldies see reason. We need nuclear energy in abundance to fuel our country's economic growth. Bangalore is the IT capital of the country but is constantly hampered by power outages and so is Mumbai, India's financial capital. Nuclear energy is the solution of the future and Dr Manmohan Singh needs all the support from all quarters to the push this N-deal ahead. These Left party leaders need to leave the country immediately as their actions are regressive to the nation. And finally, let us not forget the Left-ruled Kerala state where power shortage is a perennial problem. In 1998 when India conducted Nuclear test, they opposed it, saying that girl education would have benefitted more by the money spent on nuclear test. Today the nuclear deal is going to uplift lot of people... provide electricity to so many households. Now why are they opposing upliftement of society in the name & EXCUSE of "future nuclear tests " - These people who behave and are like hooligans should be ashamed as the full WORLD is watching on the TV how our indian VOTED parliament people are... they will say for themselves - see these indian dogs... shame on them - change yourself and keep our india's name up you stupid fool - someone pass my msge to them in the parliament - a team of logistics and economists people should judge and write the truth in this case

This deal should fail and election should be held in 2008 when the BJP will form GOvernment and then pass the deal. It is best time to throw this Government.

there is no secret about 123 clause. even mr sen india ambassodor to US has soid so.i could not read it in any mag or any newspaper. it should be published on web &in newspaper for people to evaluate
We need to progress and we need power/energy. There is no doubt about this. The country is right in seeking the deal to help us grow and progress. So, why worry about the Left opposing and the issue. The country needs the the country should have power. Let us now criticise any party. The party in power has choosen to go ahead with the deal and so it shall be.

If china and pakistan are against this deal then we should go ahead and make this deal!!!
