In last few days, I have been waiting for this decision by congress. Have been supporting to UPA govt and wished that congress give a tight reply to Left. UPA tells left if you have 59 MPs then we too have 220. Congress has kept it daring image live when it dare to convert india image and face to world. Weather its 1974 nuke test or 1991 economic liberation. Today we see kind of Indira gandhi in Sonia who is not bounding to politics. I am sure she is assured from political side also that nothing much going to damage. But if deal cancels it will damage India's image. Congress has shown to world that they are not like NDA or BJP in whose rule you can attack on India in any way. NDA speaks much and does less. They even couldnt save country from Kargil invasion and saved their face where as Congress has punished to Pakistan by seperating its state.

NDA did in 5 years what Congress and Indira Gandhi could not almost 25 years since 1974!! Had it not been Indira's corrupt nature and her weakness not to stand upto CIA and US, a few further tests would have put us in a very strong position years back!! All these years, inspite of being one of the most vibrant democracies, as an Indian, I never felt proud enough, especially outside India. All that has changed today and it all started under NDA regime.
As for Pakistan and invasion and congress's punishment, well I would rather not comment as you definitely seem ill-informed on the matter. If it weren't congress, the Kashmir mess would have not been there at the first place and if you were even half informed on Kargil crisis, we won the battle!! One of the very immediate outcomes was that our strategic relationship with Israel became stronger, something Congress did not acknowledge and develop in 50 years!! The benefits of that alliance are far too complex and profound in nature for you to understand.
As for Sonia Gandhi, well I am not surprised for you to say so....as one you are Indian and two, you are a hindu. In any other part of the world, it wouldn't have been acceptable for a foreign national to rise even to this stature, not even in Italy! I believe, that makes you wonder why we were enslaved for 200 years....coz we had 'progressive secular thinkers' like you back then and 'fortunately' we have them as many today!!!

Absolutely true.As far as this nuke deal is concerned why the government is not looking at the alternative energy security? All the obsolete nuclear junk machinery will litter allover india.In fact even we the educated people in india have not understood the text of the 123 agreement.We have been reacting to the "twisted news" on visual and print media.

You are wrong Kargil was the first war with Pakistan which we fought on our own land except this war all the past Warfield were there in pakistan. Kargil was big mess but very well publicised by BJP and it will be known for another reason for coffingate scam. In same kargil war only bofors gun worked well. In the past we have defeated them well but in this war we were fighting for saving our own land. It was USA who asked them to back out and the architect of this war Mr. Musharaf had come openly to India on invitation of Mr. Vajpayee for peace talk and nothing was gained

Aha...n do you have any idea what made Bofors guns work, Mr. Smarta**? Had it not been the ammo India purchased from Israel off the shelf, Bofors had nothing to fire!! And as you clearly don't know, this isnt the first time Pakistan was on our soil....the first war broke out when Pakistan invaded Kashmir and was just a few miles away from Srinagar (you might want to open some history books or ask your elders)!! The only difference why that was not publised is that under Congress, media never had as much freedom as it has had in recent past!!
And as for scams....well again I wouldn't comment on the scams in defence deals under Congress governments coz you clearly seem unaware of how Indira Gandhi started the political corruption in India!! Again, media was state owned back then!!

If we do not need Nuclear energy for the country's growth, then how will u meet the energy requirement. OIL & GAS how much u will pay for it.WIND how much wind we will collect,Thermal & Hydro travel around INDIA u will c drought than river beds. Or is it Chernobyl!!! We already have nuclear reactors around. Or is it we b a slave to US,No way we will use key technologies only to a minimum level.

Elsewhere nuclear reactors have been shut down.These junks will land in india.India has failed to utilise 43000 megawatts of hydro electricity during the past Cong-I and Communists rule for over 50 years.Now people are talking about "energy security" without understanding 123 agreement text.Both these UPA and its allies are plying cat and mouse games.

Mr. Singhvi needs to understand the difference, before he just opens his mouth against the BJP. The BJP had announced a voluantary moratorium. But, even then India reserved the right to a Nuclear Test at a later date.
But, the present deal with the US does not specify what the US will do incase we break our own voluntry moratorium. Hence the moratorium is enforced.
The Congress is just adding to the cacaphony by constantly saying that we have a right to test and the US has a right to"Act accoriding to its own non-proliferation goals". The Congress do not seem to understand that the people can understand clearly. The statement of Mr. Singhvi is quite clear. India will have to pay a price if India conducts a nuclear test. So, where is the question then of India having a right to test??Does the congress still feel that there is no enforcement.

Have you read the agreement? Hyde act as well as 123? Do you know that they are two different things. Hyde is non binding on agreement. Do you know that by offering to join hands with Communists in pulling the rug from under the Congress Government, BJP has lost its credibility from the minds of the people of India. Now we know that power hunger of BJP compels it to go to any extent, be it joining hands with the communists, or their foreign minister go to a terror land to release most dreaded terrorists, by plane. or praising Jinnah while in Pakistan and praising Ram while in Ayodhya. UP has shown exit to BJP. the time will come when all other state barring Gujarat will show the door to BJP. Gujarat will not show exit not because of BJP or Advani or Rajnath (sic) singh but because of Narendra Modi. BJP has only one and true leader in NM. but in the quest of power, he was thrown out by Rajnathsingh from the national executives command, because, he wants to become PM. high hopes.
I salute you Dr Manmohan Singh ! Please go ahead , we trust you with our head and heart that you are acting at India's best national interest (unlike Karat who gets orders from his Chinese Communist Party Bosses). Dr Manmohan Singh, please go ahead, we Indians are with you !!!

Well said Sreelekha. The indian commies r chinese agents. They will do everythig thats favors China. From giving infrastuctrure projects to giving chinese to participate in telecom bids putting our entire security apparatus vulnerable. The most important thing is the chinese are happy & their official press has expressed that the deal is about to collapse due to opposition in parliment. It clearly means that if it goes thru it must be good for india. What doesnt sute them suits us well.

its really surprise to see congress is taking bold decision....offcourse right one.. this left should be kicked out of india.. sametime i dont want to blame BJP..as a opposition party..some negative will be there while getting some good from INDO USA deal. This negative impact has to addressed by the oppsition.. But its the ruling party which should show the unity and ciurge to carry out this type od deals..
You have made the nation proud by showing that you do not bend to biased criticism and weak threats. They should pass by you as the idle wind which you respect not. Congress decisions were mostly pro poor or pro ppl who were dont wrong against...these were mostly non urban ppl. I think the congress can hold its head high as it has always though in the interest of the country than the rich like BJP
