govt.should not be afraid of going to indian public for elections.but must give clarifications when asked.public must be aware of all pos and cons.there is always give and take.all opposition in the past had some reasonable ground.let us listen to it.why not make this agreement public thru' news papers and media.pl go ahead with taking people in to confidence.good luck to my countrymen.
Looks like congress is going to become the biggest head less chiken after this deal. As there is not going to be any support for the congress after this deal.
At the same time congress i smaking India a head less chicken too.CXountry wont be able to develope it's nucler defence abilities. For any attack on our integrity we would have to look forward fro US protection.

Buddy, I dont say that ther are no good points in this deal but the biggest flaw seems to be about limiting the prospects of developing the nuclear capabilities of India.We must not compromise on our defence with any otehr country be it US or any other country.
Minus this point I think it is an ok deal. Do I make my self clear now.

Hun Honcho, Where will you get uranium to make bombs. India doesnot have uranium deposits, the reserve are not enough for already existing reactors. With this treaty we will be able to utilize our own uranium for making bombs as for reactors we can get the uranium from Australia or from USA. That china knows and worried about that.

I dont think the ban on nuclear test is going to help us in any way. The negiations with US is in our favour.India must unite to oppose this deal as this is not in our favour.
In case of any breach of contract INDIA will have to arbitrate in US and that also by it H.I.D.E. rules.Which hsa been specialy formed to ban the nuclear tests of India.

Yaar its not a treaty where we are being dictated to.. the indian establishment and officials are known to be the toughest negotiators in the world.. also, there is nothing to stop us from conducting another neuclear test... just that the treaty might get scrapped... but if that be in the national intrest, then so be it!

The negotiation has been made through by Mr. MK Narayanan the NSA a proven meritorious person with outstanding skills remember that.
George Fernandes is the biggest headless chicken, he always speaks from his arrrrse.He was talking as if he was law minister of china , blo-ody urine drinker. He has given india two things 1) Railway srike in which nobody gained anything except him. He wanted show his strenth for which common public had to suffer. 2) Coffin gate scam.

These left are the same people who had got several Indian freedom fighter arrested during World War 2, 1945-46, at Soviet Russia's instance. 2. these Left are the very same people who has taken China's side when 1962 Indo-Chinese war broke out. They even riased fund for Chinese soldiers in India. 3. They had called respected freedom fighetr Netaji Subhas Bose "DOG." 4. Today they want to stop the Nuke deal the the instance of China's Communist party. Can we Indians trust these very same Left with India's national interest ? Think yourself after carefully going thru history.

Only 2 nations in the whole world are opposing this Indo US nuclear deal, China and akistan.... China has the Most Favored NAtion status with the US and opposes the same status for India. China has got a similar nuclear deal with the US bt opposes the deal with India... Jyoiti Basu of CPM protested against Indian defence againt chinese invasion of india in 1962 and was jailed by Nehru for anti India activities. Basu went on to become the CM of bengal. Commies never condemn Chinese claim of arunachal Pradesh whn the people themselves want top be part of India.. CPM opposes Indian nuclear progress bt has no problems with Chinas nuclear arming of pakistan whch are targeted towards India and supports iranian nuclear program. The communists oppose ndustrialiazation in India and went on killing 100's of poor farmers in Singur and Nandigram tryin to grab farmers fertile land for setting up industries. Commies are ruling bengal for more than 30 years now and have reduced bengal from being the finest to being the poorest.. Only big industry in commie ruled states bangal and kerala are trade unions and their number one product is strikes and bandh. Commies vociferously opposed introduction of computers by rajiv gandhi, commies cald computers as evil and against national interest. Commies neva condemned chinese invasion of India in 1962. Commies do not recognize aksai chin in kashmir as part of india. And yes the commies got a new name now "Headless Chickens and Spineless Morons".

Its left to the Indian public to expose the left; none of teh leaders from any other party is doing it. they are least interested about 'the evils, if any' of this Nuke deal. oppossing for teh sake of oppossing and may be to please a particular community of voters with their so called 'anti-imperialism stance'
I applaud this decision taken by Congress. These uneducated villagers on the left will cost the country its future. India deserves a brighter future next to the United States.
