INDIA NEEDS THE ENERGY AND WE HAVE TO GO FOR IT. ANY ONE WHO OPPOSES THE DEAL IS ANTI PROGRESS. THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE OPPOSING THE DEAL ARE SELFISH WHO SEE THEIR NARROW ENDS. THEY FEAR IF PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY PROGRESS AND BECOME AWARE/ EDUCATED THEY WILL BE FINISHED IN POLITICS. I AM SURPRISED AS TO AHY THE MEDIA DOES NOT ASK THESE COMMUNISTS AND BJP POLITICIANS DIRECT QUESTIONS.
The Left parties opposing the deal on the grounds that it is anti India & anti Nuclear weapons testing by India should be first asked to clarify their position on several related issues to put their opposition in right perpective- 1. Does left parties support India Testing more nuclear weapons, if so will they categorically give a written commitment to support nuclear test by present & future Indian govt. The support has to be inside & outside parliament. This statement has to be given under perjury clause & if the Left parties go against their statement in future , then their leaders wil be arrested & left parties will be banned for good in India forever. 2. If the UPA govt gives a written statement regarding Future Nuclear testing , under the clause of perjury & acceptance of fact that if their statement is found to be false their leaders signing the 123 agreemnent would be arrested & that their party- Congress will be banned in India, then will the left Parties drop their opposition to the 123 Agreement.
By not accepting Left blackmail and by supporting Dr. Manmohan Singh's policy on Nuclear Energy, you have shown exemplary character and show of unity.Keep it up UPA. Its high time we defeat forces who want to derail India's march towards progress. The biggest surprise has been the opposition of the deal by BJP which was the very architect of this kind of an arrangement with US. I would appeal to all BJP to not only support but also applaud Dr. Manmohan Singh for achieving such a feat with USA. Its time Indian politics should mature now and parties must support initiatives which are in the overall interest of the country cutting across party lines.

What you have said in the last couple of lines is very correct.But then in India if you are in opposition you have to oppose even good decisions of Govt.Left is always anti progress and anti US.
It is sad fact that our politicians don't see the bigger picture and ruin indias image.
