There is a clear reference to Iran in the Hyde act which regulates the 123 agreement within the US. You cannot deny this. So why is the government trying to avoid this issue. The indian gov should take the opportunity to formulate its laws with respect to 123 type deals. One of the laws should state very clearly that there will no linkage between the foreign policy and the 123 agreement. Its also clearly known the Mr Bush and Mr Cheney arm twisted MMS / Sonia into ganging up against Iran. In spite of how much MMS protests, he did not complete the signing of the Iran - PK pipeline which is essential for energy security.
the present government is the result of opportunistic post poll alliance. congress got only 145/545 seats in lok sabha. but in the name of secularism, parties fighting against each other formed the government.
this has given us a puppet pm and a puppet president of dubious background. now sonia is all powerful, which has resulted in the release of quatrochi from argentina. earlier the govt defrozed his bank account.
left and congress can again find some way out of the present 123 nuclear agreement dispute and continue the show.

India at present has got a PM of irrefutable integrity as MMS. You are saying ... of dubious record!!! Can the author come for ward with any one instance of that. Do not blab like the petty polititians... We asume that we are educated and the mean polititians take advantage of the people like you who do not analyse the things with your own head!
Nuclear energy gives only power to us, but gas gives not only power also fuel for vehecles, home use. why we are not giving top priority to this project? It should be completed.

The nuclear energy is the cleanest energy available .... unlike the fossil fuels. More to it the fossil fuel will be over within 50 years if the consumption goes on like present... So we should search for alternate fuel... And the arm twisting of OPEC during 70's we should remember....
