Ronen Sen's interview
by Shridhar Iyer on Aug 21, 2007 04:01 PM  Permalink

Mr.Ronen Sen, has been involved in the negotiations all these years, and he had put in lot of hard work/bargaining till the agreement was finalised and signed recently by both the Govts.

When he saw the opposition for the deal from the Communists, and BJP also is trying to take advantage of the rift between Congress and the Communists, he must have felt bad, and resulted in his outbust. While one can understand his feelings/frustrations, as a professional, he should have avoided such uncomplimentary words.

The Parliament could express its unhappines over his remarks, but recallng him would be a bit harsh, according to me, for a person who has worked so hard to clinch the agreement.

With best wishes,
V.Srinivasan.

AMBASSADOR SEN'S INTERVIEW

Why Karat and other parties were silent when NDA Convenor said that PM should have been shot had he been in China or thrown out of President's Office if in US. There seems to be nothing wrong with Sen's statement as compared to Fernandes comments.

This was neutralised by PM statement that BJP did havan for his death. Any hindu can tell that HAVANs are always done for prosperity and can never be done for negative things. Only tantric totkas r done for such things. So do not hide Sen's bad mannerism , which is totally unfit for such dignified post under this false argument shadow.

Fernandes' comments were private statements
made in his bedroom to Jaya Lately.

The Ambassador Sen interview was a public
cry of one good man to not allow evil to
prevail for the sake of protocol.

Such men should be rewarded, not recalled
for the sake of
1. Yechuryian chickens.
2. Karati karelas
3. Chinese Puppets in India (CPI)
4. Chinese Pandas & Monkies (CPM)
5. Sinhafully stupid Yashwant Sinners
and other deal abrogators of the BJPeee,
the most irrresponsible opposition that
India has ever had.

Ambassador Sen has said nothing wrong

If BJP and Leftist can tell public that why they are opposing the deal or which part of the deal they don't want so that public can understand their favour. Actually what we know is thatthis deal is in favour of India...if not, they should tell us

BJP and Leftist do not want that Congress should get mileage out of this deal in the world and in India. Indian elections are due any time, I presume Congress will still have an upper hand if the deal is cancelled. Because Congress will spell out to the public and will definitely make it a election issue that BJP, Karat and few other like minded people are responsible for getting this deal cancelled. Poor public or say a common man does not know much about this deal. As per TOI survey today, 93% favoured this deal.

Any sane person will react to such madness
by Rahul Pingale on Aug 21, 2007 03:54 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

So much effort has gone into formulating the entire deal. The Karats of India can only sit and critisise the decisions, because their policies and philosophies would never allow them to come to the surface. They'll die lying there, rotting.

I think you are not following up the current affairs.. Not only opposing Karats.. Including scientists and other politicians also opposing...
He hasn't consideration of Parliament for this deal.. he should consider parliament members majority opinion, because Congress party hasn't complete majority in parliament.

BJP is opputunistic!!! Karat is self seeking &Greedy for power!!!
by S Narain on Aug 21, 2007 03:54 PM  Permalink

There is no doubt that BJP has a double face ,In particular Advani who is greedy for power and has no beleif in value based politics!!!BJP was only hand in glove with rich and corrupt business lobyy ,particularly Advani who was giving so many favours to rich business lobby and collected huge money in return, ignoring Atal ji.He allowed afree hand to Business lobby to hire and fire during the 2000-2004,without any consideration for working class and were booted out of power by Public.BJP ,has been power hungry and has not learnt any lessons for its defeats. Soon under Advani it would be completely wiped out.

Karat is a rootless fellow who is not only anti India ,but also marginalisng the good comrades in left .
Karat ,Yechury are evils within left who are ready to lick boots of Sonia ji ,for being in the picture and would hijack left .
Karat has not even won a housing society election . He is heading left and succeded to marginlaise good comrades.
He is against any good fellow coming to power. For example ,Karat showed finger to Somanth Da when he wanted to contest for VP.
Just like Chappel showed finger in Kolkata!!!
Bongs please wake up before U guys get marginalised by rootless Karat within left politics!!!!
Power and position is only for Lalu',Mayawatis, Jaya,Karats ,Yechury etc
Leftist from WB ,Angutha Chuste Raho!!!!
(Suck your Thumb)

some questions on nuclear deal
by Danendra Jain on Aug 21, 2007 03:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Will Present UPA government succumb to Left pressure and avoid operationalise Nuclear deal with USA?

Or UPA government will operationalise Nuclear Deal as per agreement and prefer fresh election ad fresh mandate from the voters?

Is it desirable to tarnish the image of our country by retreating from nuclear deal which has reached the final stage after two years relentless involvement and time ti time modification?

Is it possible now to backtrack from Nuclear Deal?

What repercussions do we expect from USA if at all we decide to backtrack from Nuclear Deal?

Is it possible that USA will avoid India and join hands with Pakistan on Nuclear Deal on the same lines which Pakistan is also eager to?

If Pakistan agrees to sign on Nuclear Deal with USA which India plans to discard, what will the position of India in International forums?

Will India repent more painfully when Pakistan accepts the same terms of Nuclear Deal ad gets an opportunity to legalize their Nuclear programme as also enlarge production of electrical energy through Nuclear resources?

Has India enough row materials to continue our Nuclear programme in the existing form?

Are we able to cope with growing demand of electrical power through our traditional resources of coal and water?

Are we self sufficient in Uranium and other raw materials for growing Nuclear energy?

What are the losses which our country will incur if we backtrack from Nuclear Deal?

China is happy to observe surfa

BJP - NDA has lost its credibility
by Rahul Pingale on Aug 21, 2007 03:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Left is the biggest leech I've ever seen. They have always been a nuisance to the entire system of the country. NDA allies too seem to have lost their Heads, anticipating an early election. The Political class of the country, be it the NDA or the Left or the Congress, all are suckers. barring a few good people, this country would have really gone ot the dogs like Karat.

If they do not shout or talk loudly in the parliament, they will be seriously ill. It has become a habit with them to shout, very difficult to change. It is customary with Opposition has to oppose everything, even if it is right. Party in power should continue the good work and get the deal implemented.
