The holier than thou attitude of the left parties in this matter should not be appreciated by the elite of this nation. Look who is complaining? The left parties which rules Bengal & Kerala. Half of their population is in the USA pumping money from USA so that these guys can sit here and abuse them. It is high time the left minions understand that without a capitalist there will not be a labour! Some one has to invest to give these buggers jobs so that they can call INQUILAB SINDABAD! We need plenty of ENERGY for the progress of this country and not Bombs.

r u a US citizen ? The whole country is debating the issue whether the nuclear deal is beneficial to India or not. The main opposition party is also strongly opposing the deal. Also the left parties. u r not saying anything about BJP opposing the deal. The common people like me still doesn't know whether there is anything for India in that deal. We r not here to discuss communism or capitalism. A vast majority of the elected memebers of the parliament are opposing the deal irrespective of whether they r communist or capitalist. Don't write absolute "Bakwaas" in these forums.

Mr.Sunny has got it wrong. He has confused economic models and politics. I would like to suggest that he knows the impact of the 123 Agreement. It is supposed to take care of only 3% of power requirements. In terms of exposure, ramifications both political and economic, and America's known diabolical intentions, it worth considering the objections of the Left. America has now the worst record on all fronts. The last was the financial crisis because of sub prime market. So consider it an equal partner and deal with it is absolute foolhardiness and risky. This is what is to be understood.
Thankfully, we could read a few meaningful articles in the print media on the substantial question of what are the implications of the 123 agreement and Hyde Act, whether it is good or bad for the country, by EXPERTS in nuclear technology like Dr Bharath Karnad, Dr P K Iyengar, Dr A Gopalakrishnan etc.
The electronic media on the contrary has been pure sham and crap, all the while hyping about the instability faced by UPA Govt or the opinions of political leaders of all hues. We all know that politicians in this country are driven mostly by vote bank politics and give least importance to substantial issues like economics, cost benefits, technology implications, legal implications etc. of such international or bilateral deals.
Honestly, the educated common man of this country is LEAST bothered about the political posturings of Left, NDA or the socalled UNPA as also UPA and its allies.
What one is interested in is a clear and simple elucidation of the benefits of the agreement to the country and clear statement on any catches or hitches.
Any talk about avoidable cost to the country due to mid term polls is a sheer joke. If MPs and MLAs can resign at the drop of a hat, contest in more than one constituency, if ministers can be made Governors and viceversa resulting in fresh elections, what if there is a mid term poll? Let us not hype things and misplace the thrust on trivialities.
Let media play a constructive role in educating viewers on more imporatant things

It has been 60 years since we got independence. Do you know why they keep telling you that they are working for poor people. Because they can only say that, even if they had done anything for the poor they should have wiped out that word.
Or may be they are just saying that they are working for the poor. But not a single poor have become rich. For 60 years they have been saying that and will continue to say that. They can only keep saying as long as there are poor.
If the country become self sufficient and every body's standard goes up then where the hell on earth that you can say they are working for the poor.
They have failed miserably and they have to be fired.

World's two great democracies are showing to the world as to how dicisions are made in public interest. Our rapport is a surprize to both to China and Pakistan. One great accomplishment of these parleys is that, the peoples and governments of these two democracies have been constantly thinking of one another. Now the ball is in President Bush's court. He has to remove all that is hiding behind the Hyde act and things will definitely work to the benefit of both and rather all the democracies of the world. Dr. R.C. YashRoy
Indian Leftists are more worried about Chinese interests rather than India's interests.
But they will not withdraw the support, as they can never get the power (at centre) on their own, thus they want to enjoy the power and without responsibility while being loyal to China.

Don't worry. Left will do 1-2-3 for Indian people. That is the worry of your leaders. People will realize it. People also know that you write these things to make the safe passage of your corrupted leaders.

AntiCongress, AntiBJP means you are one among them - the Communists. This shows really where the Communists stand in terms of the Indian Nationality. Corrupted Leaders. Do you know how much your so called leader of the working class has. He did not get it by winning a Lottery did he.
Communists are the most corrupted and unpatriotic people in out country. Very soon you all will be ashamed to even say the word communism.

People and Poticians in China are more corrupt than in India or elsewhere in the world. Regarding India, who finds a natural ally in Lalu Rabri except Left parties?
