Why on earth is the Congress negotiating with these thugs?!
by Aravindan SR on Aug 20, 2007 12:06 PM  Permalink

I don't understand why the Congress has formed a committee to address the concerns of these no account people who have done nothing for India. Political blackmailers are worse than terrorists. If the governement wouldn't negotiate with terrorists, why negotiate with the adherents of this philosophy that lost it's relevance long ago?

Attact against indians
by yarlagadda laskhman on Aug 20, 2007 11:57 AM  Permalink

Instead of developing indeginous organisations our country heads are looking forward for china, where quality is in worst standard. We do have many MNC setups in india, providing huge employment oppurtunities to india graduates.
Even if they given order to china, they should have put a clause, that 80% must be indians like that.
Already a lot of intruders are entering into india from pak, bangladesh, afganisthan on daily basis. And now we started encouraging china.

Can some one explain this?
by hiral joshi on Aug 20, 2007 11:45 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

If this deal is so beneficial, why dont India go for NPT? anyway when we are in the deal with USA, practically we are not going to do N-tests. Moreover, NPT has international recognition, signing NPT will ensure permenant seat for India in UNSC. Signing NPT will include India in to reputed N-club nations. And all the other advantages of having privilages of civilian (peaceful) nuclear power production are also coupled with NPT. If India can be manipulated by USA for this Nuclear deal, why cant India drop the Anti-NPT stature? Atleast NPT has more credibility than this US sponsored deal.

Why fear mind set
by sg sg on Aug 20, 2007 11:45 AM  Permalink

I would like to ask Raman why is there a fear mindset on the policy we make with US or any other country have to be with a muslim mindset. Should it not be for the benefit of the nation and not one perticualr comminuty. Mind you I am too concerned about the approach Manmohan ia taking with the 123 act. All we as Indian are asking is for a debate on the issue which will not compramise our soverienity of testing nuclear arms and its concequances. But talking about the chinese they are un dependable, they are back stabbers and the less we listen to the comminist of our country the better. They were known paetners with the british and will sleep with anyone to get their way.

'China's interest is our interest'
by sunder on Aug 20, 2007 11:18 AM  Permalink

It is a pity that 60 odd Commies (which form less than 15% of the Parliament strength) mostly from WB are taking the nation to ransom.
These commies who are more interested in Chinese Development than that of India's development are the Real Traitors of this Country.
It is really sad that BJP who are the originator of this Nuke deal is now against it.The interest of the Nation should be above the interest of any National Party.

No BJP is against the deal which has serious implications on India's security. Untill which is addressed deal should not be signed blindly. How come our parliament is debating the deal after 3 years while US-senate since 2005?
