Read this very carefully and understand the coarse of historic events. Communist Party of Germany (German Kommunistische Partei Deutschlands %u2013 KPD) was a major political party in Germany between 1918 and 1933. Founded in the aftermath of the First World War by socialists opposed to the war, led by Rosa Luxemburg, the party was after her death gradually committed to Leninism, and in the 1930s was completely loyal to the Soviet Union and its leader Joseph Stalin. During the Weimar Republic period, the KPD usually polled between 10 and 15% of the vote and was represented in the Reichstag and in state parliaments. So IT IS VERY CLEAR. The Germans in 1932-33 were presented with the following alternative: Communists who are loyal to Soviet Russia or Nazis who are loyal only to German interests. It is NOT AT ALL surprising whom the German electorate chose. If you were an honor loving German at that time you would have done exactly the same. The Industrialists, Bankers and Junker (Landlord class of Prussia all feared and hated Thalmann and his communists. After the Nazis came to Power the Communists tried to make more trouble by trying to burn down the German Reichstag. There are no candies for guessing what happened afterwards. They were banned and Communism was expunged from Germany. The same needs to happen in INDIA once and for all. It is very unfortunate that the World War II saw the victory of this pernicious philosophy so that it lived prey upon other nations.
Many authors on this page have shown tremendous knowledge and past experiences of CPM politiking in cohort with China. I appreciate that the saame is shown by the UPA people who wants to forget thhe past experiences of China 1962 war and CPM postures. Once again, India is faced with the daunting task to seperaate CPM from China hand in India. It is not the community specific which should be targeted by some ignorants but CPM as a whole should be banished from the Indian political scene. Here, I am not in any way supporting/opposing CPM stand on 123 agreement as it is an issue which needs national refrendum and I agree with the author of the article Raman that we should be very careful while signing deal 123 on US terms or on the terms of any other nation which had been inimical to Indian interests in past. There should not be any urgency in doing so as our statesman will be able to find some way to help solve this issue more amicably. Please be careful when you think of electing these CPM people in politics as in this party, individuals however good they may be, do not matter and what matters most is the ideology of blindly supporting China at any cost. It is their survival and we have allowed them to survive till date even after 1962 is a bonus to CPM and its China lackeys. This party was to have been banished from our political scene after 1962 survived due to our voters' illiteracy and scarcity of knowledgable people in political arena.

i live in Kolkata;i like this place very much , but i'd love it if somehow this murderous government which bodes everybody ill is all flown to some Shanghai hotel where they can fill their lives with pleasure rather than destroy cities, institutions and people;come to Kolkata in the rains and you'll know what i am talking of.i hate saffronists and secularists almost equally but each one of them is a temple of goodness compared to this red inferno.

TIE UP ALL THE REDS AND AIR DROP THEM IN CHINA. THE CHINESE ARE WISE ENOUGH TO SHOOT THEM IN THE AIR SO THAT THEY DO NOT LAND ON THEIR SOIL AND SPILL DIRT IN THEIR LAND. THEY HAVE CREATED ENOUGH POLITICAL SLUM AND SLUSH IN OUR COUNTRY.
