you are right .these lefistist movements are going strong where people are ignorant ,iiliterate.these leftist are not allowing people to become illiterate and progessive by blowing schools ,hospitals,police stations. railways.,etc so that people of respected area suffer under dark and be easilly misguided to marxist fold in the name of peoples struggle. those who know their reallities and tries to wake up fellows in those areas are shot dead as informers. these marxist or communist or naxalite ,whatever you call them are traitors . why is not a single marxist or naxalite stuggle not going in cities? are the people in cities not sufferring from oppression? yes they are but they are more illiterate or well in formed . they know that their joing hands with these comareds or cowards will make one country happy ...china and they will be forever slaved under peoples army and people's party.

It was same Karat who had claimed some years ago -when they were not seen to be dangerous as today- that Naxals are a part of Communist movement! This was in reply to a question put to him by NDTV some 7-8 yrs ago as to why there is not much of increase in membership in their rank. A reader of Indian Express had written to editor expressing surprise as to how Karat could claim the membership of even Naxals!
I think the US has used up Pakistan (against India, Iraq, Gulf region and maybe Russia). Now when it has no use for Pakistan it is turning towards India. So that it can use India against China....
Agreed China is our enemy, but US is not our friend either, in fact US is nobody's friend. Just look at what it did to Saddam and Taliban (which were its own creations and also onetime friends). Maybe US is a greater enemy since it is behind the cloak.
India should not fall in the trap of the US nuke deal. We have so much of natural resources. We big rivers in abundance, why cannot we use these natural resources to take care of our fuel and energy security.
I say why cannot we use the vast network of rivers that we have to generate hydal power plants and satisfy the energy needs. That way we can have 100% control over our nuclear resources.
I think Manmohan singh and even the earlier BJP government have been very Naive to have taken this bait from US. What say???

The govt. should order an enquiry through IB/RAW about the communists over enthusiasm in escuttling the n-deal, which is essential for the country's future energy requirements. They are now opposing the deal to make sure that India is always behind China and does not overtake it. They are anti-nationals and traitors. They should be treated as such. They did not oppose with so much vigour, many of the govt's decision like fuel price hike and PF interest rate reduction, which affect the people directly. This shows their true intentions

RAMKI, communists have deep roots in media and accademic centers. JNU is their citadel. They are continiously trying to weaken India . But congress in lust of power never tried to controll them. And believe me these communists will never let this govt. fall it there is slightest possibility of BJP coming to power.
Reason is not secularism or idealogical. Communist know that their resources will be dried up if BJP come to the power. Otherwise BJP is as much communal or secular as Congress is

Imran Patel was trying to define NATIONALISM. I feel this also one of the component which define nationalism. Imran shud include this ALSO in his definition
