Not all Bengalis are communists, I agree, the bengalis are intelectuals, when this intelectuality and the ideology of communism mixes it has attracted more bengalis towards the idea of communism, am i right Mr. Roy?

No govt in democracy can survive 6-7 terms. It is possiblem only if the elections are rigged or voters are fool. There is something wrong in WB
It is human tendency not to remain stisfied . Thre is always a urge for a change after some time. Why only communits govts survive for 40-50 years ( russia, china, uguslaivia, Cuba etc. I feel elections are held there)
The view of the author is harsh on the left. When we lean too much towards the West, the left act as counterbalance. India need to be strong to be friends with China. So we need allies like Russia, US, Japan, Australia etc. The author's expression of fear of Muslim backlash is unwarranted. It is economy that dictates the tide of human sentiments. It is the petrodollar that attracts the attention of the world. Once the petrol dries up, the gulf will be past memory. Marxists get inspiration from China. To blame them as unpatriotic is injustice. May be they want to drive with one leg pressed on the brake.

Is capitalism Indian concept? Isnt anti marxists are propogating western values, agendas. Philosopies cant be a product one country alone. Then supporting capitalism is as good as supporting the British, the race that expolited us for 200 years. If we blame communist we should blame others as well. The point is that no one philosophy is perfect. Communists, Hindutavabadi BJP or nondemocratic,family ruled party like Cong all are same. The point is the treaty, we should discuss it threadbare not commies, bjps, congs etc. Nt which political party is good or bad. The author of course is nt w/o his personal bias and quite evident whom he is supporting.

What do you have to say about silence of these traitor leftists on 1962 war? Why they were silent when visa to two IAS officers from Arunachal Pradesh were denied on the premise of their being chinese citizens? Take a note that as 1/3rd of Jammu and kashmir and as Tibet was occupied by China to pursue its monopolistic attitude, one day they would eye for other disputed areas also, which they claim as their own. "Marxists get inspiration from China", what inspiration they get from China? Is it Anti-Indian? or not willing the development of India a powerfull nation as China wishes? I suppose you mean it.
I am also not much enthused with the contents of the deal but it is also a fact that we need to have more and more of nuclear energy which besides the non-conventional sources, is going to be the only source of energy in future. These leftists are real traitors and Govt, should not bow to their pressure. Since they are pursuing China favoured approach despite so many setbacks from China, its really hard to digest that how can an Indian still trust China. China has its own set of goals to dominate the region and thats why supporting Pakistan to engage India at all fronts. If US is favouring us then don't these traitors have a bit of common sense that we are moving forward with a more strategic alliance with US. Although US too doesn't have credible record but still enemy's enemy is friend and undoubtedly, as George Fernadiz has said that "China is our Enemy no. 1". These people should be exposed and suitable action taken against them.

Very well said... just to add, it is no longer a doubt in our minds that CPI-M's HQ is not in Kolkatta but in Beijing! They should be thrown out of the country, leave aside West Bengal.
They are simply dancing to the tune of China and making the Indian Govt dance simply because they have some sits in Loksabha to blackmail the govt. It is time for Indian people to realise what is good for the country and who are the traitors.

Now, the Cs will be happy as China is signing a nuclear pact with Pak, China has forgotten that it's citizens were caught in Pak for prostitution and the consequential happens of Red Mosque. If they are going to join hands with Pak and try to arm twist India where these so called Cs (traitors) will go? Will they support India?
