It seems that the hype & halla created on deal is only to divert attention from burning issues like INFLATION, UNEMPLOYMENT,Dwindling Markets.
Is anybody worried that with rising inflation will common indians will be able to afford that costly nuclear power.
People who talk of economic developmemt ,basic question is are we able to reduce poverty and what economic development has taken for BPL population.
Yes country has progressed and become richer(huge foreign reserves) but common man has become poor .Is this growth ????
Lot is being written of nuclear deal which will have effect 20 years down the line,is anybody talking of the unrest in jammu(under curfew for last four days) and other parts of the country(indore) due to Congress decision to take back land from Shree Amarnath Shrine Board.
Probably not because US nuclear houses have stakes on the deal and one day we won't be surprised taht all the campaign for pro deal was funded by this lobby.

A Week ago when I wrote that people of India want the N Deal many laughed at.
It is now proved that Indians are very intelligent survivors be it, Mughal period , British, Portugal, Dutch ..
They know clearly what they lack in their political .system and what they want as world citizens.
Politicians are too puny ....they can rarely even deliver daily food. to their electorate . They send them begging with bowls to neighbors.....They send their children to study abroad and settle......including Gandhi.
People know that they will be made to crawl in oil rich deserts for food ....with shackles of religion and fears of terrorism. HAIL THE INDIAN MASSES. DECIDE YOUR FUTURE !!! FORGET THE CUNNING POLITICIANS OF INDIA.

It is really pathetic that no one is pointing towards the REAL target. To me, FOSSIL FUEL, HYDROELECTRCITY & NUCLEAR ENERGY- are the 3 biggest demons and anybody supporting them is actually killing the planet. The big question is: Why nuclear when it can't give more than 6% of our total energy needs(and that too by 2011)? How long will we bear the the bruises of ignorance and slavery? There is something terribly wrong with the mindset of our leadership and the people. Everybody knows that the NUCLEAR WASTE MANAGEMENT is IMPOSSIBLE, but still we Indians continue to give logic in favour of the Nuclear energy. US has not built even a single nuclear reactor after 1979 and wants to sell us the 'rejected and HAZARDOUS technology'. And we have closed our eyes and proving our 'progressive attitude' by singing songs of praise for the Nuclear energy. Have we gone really mad? As Mr. Lakshman Singh of BJP pointed out in LOKSABHA on 28th November, 2007, there is only one safe, economical and the best way to all our energy needs: Solar and Wind energy. To quote Mr. Chetan Upadhyaya of SATYA FOUNDATION, "If at all, we want to save the world from further environmental degradation, WE MUST ADOPT SOLAR & WIND POWER, NOW. You are a stupid. The Nuclear Deal will turn India into another Ukraine. India will not have any nuclear weapons at all, as it will not be able to produce materials for the nuclear weapons. The Indo-US deal is not about nuclear power which India can develop without any techonological help from USA, but it is about India's nuclear weapons, which the Americans want to abolish. Left is doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, but they are doing the right thing. This Deal is against the interest of India.
Nuclear energy generated from the reactors produces no green house gases, but it has many draw backs. Our scientists have developed a radical new technology based on thorium, which promises what uranium never deliver: abundant safe and clean energy and a way to burn up old radioactive waste. Right to test nuclear device is not an issue at all .The real issue is the right to reprocess the spent fuel. USA have not given India full mandate for re-processing the fuel. Govt and policies change but Laws seldom change. What is the surety USA will not behave like a money lender? In that case the future generation have to live with great expectation under the mercy of USA. The most important point is that once we prove that thorium- based fast breeder reactor technology is commercially viable, there is every possibility that USA will block the sales of this reactor to other countries saying plutonium is being used in the reactor as part of the fuel. Nobody is talking about this vital point.
