Nuclear deal with US
by Biren Hazra on Aug 19, 2007 09:56 PM  Permalink

It seems that the US is interested to protect its own economy and rule the world as it likes. It is a simple question that what had the Parlamentarians been doing when there was no severe compulsion.

A NATIONAL issue is to be left to the common people. Literate legislators are supposed to arouse the people in our classified society.

The question is whether you are to live as slaves or free human beings? The capitalistic approaches are not at all glorifying the common mass out here atleast. Our mixed economy has rather been a compromise on the basic issue of our losing independence.

You know that the developed countries have swallowed up all bread and butter-I mean the natural resources to serve their their own interest. Are they coming forward to protect the interest of all global citizens? Yes, this 'global' term is horrible 'buzzword'. If they retain the right to go for all nuclear-tests, what is wrong with others? Can't they move forward to generate some electricity for the common people?

Yes, the Shylocks have increased their muscle-power out of we all socio-economic slaves. Please analyze from the perspective of petrol-based control of the world economy.

They have invented alternative fuels long ago. Vehicles can run using water as fuel. Are they transferring the technology to all nations who spend greater amount of their budget on the procurement of petrol? The answer is "NO".

Feel all these at their depths and see how the hell is really coming dow

PM has to be supported
by Jaspal Singh on Aug 19, 2007 07:27 PM  Permalink

Hey you all who are against the Deal, if you think that the deal is against India's interest, why the hell you are not terming the PM and the Govt as "ANTI NATIONAL". The reason is simple........The Left is opposing b'coz of its Ideological compulsion....The Right si doing so just make its presence felt. This gentleman, Mr PM, is doing all the good things. He needs support from all.

CPI(M) can not bite Because
by Dipak Bose on Aug 19, 2007 05:23 PM  Permalink

CPI(M) cannot bite because that would mean suicide for West Bengal. All projects going on there will be stopped.
BJP gave not even one Rupee to West Bengal. Not a single project went there. That is the very reason CPI(M) cannot ruin this government.
BJP is a racist party, it hates Bengalis. So CPI(M) cannot help BJP to get power again.

THERE CAN BE ALTERNATIVE GOVT. IF UPA GOVT. FALLS!!!
by wani bhardwaj on Aug 19, 2007 11:48 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All are telling about political uncertaintly in case of UPA Govt. falls. If political parties are matured enough, then there are option, if there is a WILL!!! 1) The parties against INDO-US Nuclear deal come out under a common minimum programme just UPA is pretending that they have, and make an alternative to UPA under UNPA supported by leftists and other like minded parties; 2) Left can take initiate and get support with other UPA and NDA as well as UNPA constituents who are agaisnt nuclear deal and make an alternative govt. under Left Prime Ministership; 3) Let NDA support any other Govt. sans Congress under a common minimum programme. On any of the above 3 options, PM can be Sharad Pawar of NCP; Mulayam Singh Yadav of SP; or even Jayalalitha of Tamil Nadu. Yes, of course, the name we forgot to mention here is, if political parties are cominng under a consensus, then even our ex-President's name can propose and give maximum MPS support to him for making an altenrative govt. What we want is country should be secular Govt., (means no appeasement to any religion); Indian Integrity and Soverignity should be respected and UNITY OF INDIA to be strengthened; Good governance for the benefit of our country. Please come up and take a firm stand all the poltiicans, before it will be too LATE!!!

Mr.Malhotra, you are a immature politician..
by Ratnesh Sahay on Aug 19, 2007 04:48 AM  Permalink

Mr.Malhotra, do you think the communists will bite the congress just because you said it. They won't do it now, just because you said it. There was no need for BJP to get into this, and should have left it to Congress-Communists to deal. The communists are not fool like yours, they will not do a silly thing at the instance of you.
BJP is in too much of hurry to get into power, without getting to know what input it requires. There used to be a time when BJP was projected as a disciplined party. Today it is most Indisciplined party, the infighting is visible from all corners, there is no consistency and no control eventually. They have sidelined those who were disciplined and contributed for the foundations of party. At the same time, they also think that they can come to power.
One chance to come to power is one chance and if gone, will take twenty more to come back.

Look what happened in Madhya Pradesh, they threw out Uma Bharati who was such a devoted party leader and sole contributor for bringing the party into governance. It is one classic example of what people's trust is taken for in BJP and yet they think that they can come to power.
Mr.Malhotra, your count in next election is not going increase, take it from me.( I am not a BJP man, its a close observation )

LET US BE CLEAR......
by UmaShankar SathyaKumar on Aug 19, 2007 03:09 AM  Permalink

In the real NEW world, America need India and India need America....

Though I don't like America. There is nothing wrong to get the technology and screw them back like they have done to Germans in 1940-70's.

America is bankcrupt. So, they need ASIAN money to buy their bread and butter by selling Nuke or whatsoever technology....

In a multi-polar world, America has very few friends...countless enemies....It is neccessary and in the best interest of Americans to work with Indians to be friends...

Having said that...If they try to screw India..even God will not bless AMERICANS.....

USE AMERICA...Give them their own bitter medicine...Nothing wrong...Karma or Darma..Be that as Indian Style!!

The lefts in Bengal made millions poor!! Thats their big achinevement to date..... Please.... NEVER VOTE TO LEFTS....

Atleast economic policies of Manmohan made millions of Indians to eat three meals a day..

I am one among them...

Jai Hind
