1. The right and duty to obtain education.
2. The right to have their own independent property.
3. The right to work to earn money if they need it or want it.
4. Equality of reward for equal deeds.
5. The right to express their opinion and be heard.
6. The right to provisions from the husband for all her needs and more.
7. The right to negotiate marriage terms of her choice.
8. The right to obtain divorce from her husband, even on the grounds that she simply can't stand him. (pls note that God deeply frowns upon divorce as a solution unless there is hardly any other alternative but it does not mean that men have more right to divorce their wives than women do.)
9. The right to keep all her own money (she is not responsible to maintain any relations).
10. The right to get sexual satisfaction from her husband.

Taslima father was doctor but he also tried to stop her for education but her mother actually forced her to do education. This is the case of educated doctor father ..think abt those fathers are not educated....

we need to separate religion from culture. Taslima is a victim of bad culture. This same thing happens to Hindu and Christian woman in India. If Islam was the problem, then this problem should be only with Muslim woman...Ask yourself...is that the case ???

Yes. That is true under an Islamic State.
And the quote you have from Bhukari is applicable NOT for all Muslims, but Muslims that change religion within a Muslim society and conspire against the Islamic government.
An Islamic government is NOT possible in todays world as MUSLIMS are not following the basic principles of Islam. Hence most of the FATWAS do NOT applpy today.
A FATWA is a NON-BINDING opinion from a scholar that is specific to a time, person and place. It is NOT a universal LAW.
This is NOT an Islamic State. It is a secular democratic state.
The message of the Imam is very disturbing and may incite violence, which is an offense under the Indian Judicial System. The government needs to take a look at this option.
When Muslims demand that against Bal Thakarey, we must have the same standards for this Imam.
Secondly, If the Muslim community has a problem with the writings of these people, there are better ways to counter them. Here are my suggestions,
- Taslima Nasreen is not an Islamic Scholar or a Historian
- Stop giving her this free publicity by STUPID Comments
- Come out with your message
- Look at the legal options of defamation against her
Muslims need to stop over reacting. Allah or the Prophet are not belittled by some book or some remark.
We need to correct our priorities. Direct this energy towards your children's education and their up bringing.
Think about her...Taslim Nasreen's biggest rise to fame is that she has managed to anger the Muslim community...What else has she done...Muslims should stop reacting this way. It gives more credit to people than what are should get...
GET OVER IT.
Also,
Taslima is presenting her experience and one thing we all need to remember is that experience with a "Muslim" is not the same as experience with Islam, same way as experience with a "Hindu" is not the same as experience with Hinduism.

Why should she be called anything...Just call her a writer as here writings are a point of discussion/contention. It is not her nationality or her religion.
She is giving her experience...so be it...let het do that...There is nothing un-islamic about that...But if she is connecting her experience with Islam as a whole, that is her mis-fortune and ignorance. But she has a right to free speech.
