this cud be a jihadi ploy to demoralise security forces
by girish on Aug 17, 2007 07:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the jihadis use girl and women to lure security men and then thrash them,or kill them this has happened many times in kashmir.

maybe this woman is also a jihadi.

bcoz in front of so many people no security
guy will mis behave.

let the thing be investigated.

let us not condemn the guy so easily.

remember the jihadis r the enemy of secularism and democracy, they want nizam ei mustafa in
kashmir and later on in india,ie shariat based rule in india and the world.

a valid point to consider. usually uniformed men such as the NSG are highly trained and well behaved. A plan could have been in action so as to remove the sky marshall and in his absence to hijack the flight in which the CM of Kashmir was flying and thus repeat another Khandar flight drama.

Marshall
by mafatlal sheth on Aug 17, 2007 07:05 PM  Permalink

When the lady refused to obey instructions the best way for Marshall was to inform the pilot and then in presence of Pilot and chief minister the Marshall should have instructed lady and still if she does not listen then Marshall can touch her and put her behind bar. Poor chap did not understood this!!

Really it is just showing off. It is impossible for a man to fondle a lady infront of so much people in a narrow way. Investigation has to be done to find out the backgrond of the lady.In such situation it is a fashion for the men around to rally behind the lady in question, to show symptathy and get her favour

Some ladies are too obnoxious
by ratnesh srivastav on Aug 17, 2007 06:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I was on the same flight and the reality is as follows:

This lady was not following the proper directions like putting the seat belt on infact she was standing in the passage and trying to open her cabin bag to get some thing out. Even though the pilot had asked everyone to sit down and put the seat belts on as the plane was about to takoff. The marshall ordered her to sit down immediately in very strict voice (clearly he was apprehensive about the possibility of the lady being a terrorist) She ignored him and continued to search her bag.
The sky marshal pushed her on her seat (He touched her shoulders only) I am eyewitness to it. She fell down on her seat and the seat next to her were vacant and the marshal as a precautionary measure took a seat away from her but in such a way that he could still observe her. Suddenly she started shouting. and the pilot took the plane back to bay area.

I am eyewitness to whole episode and I did tell the Chief minister but I guess to gain cheap popularity in public he ordered the marshal's arrest when infact the lady should have been arrested and the marshall rewarded for his alertness.

Poor chap I pity him. He should know that doing duty in our country is a bigger risk than not doing it.

I am cent percent agree with ratnesh srivastava. The background of the lady has to be investigated. In such a situation, the men around her, as a fashion, rally behind her to give sympathy and get a passing favour from the lady. These pygmy men are stupid of the first order, I pity them and spit at them.

Rediffmail should publish your observations in the head lines to clear the misunderstanding about Marshall. Pilot should have stopped the plane when he knew that some one is not observing his instructions instead of stopping for Marshall. All passangers should support the Marshall. Being a woman it does not give blanket permit to behave rakelessly.

I did tell Cheif minister. But it is true I am not superman and I am not brave enough to fight the system of Neta-terrorists-and media. I have a family and I am sure that if I put give written complaint then I might be killed like Satyendra Dube.

You may call me coward. That I am. I did explain it to CM but the behaviour of CM was enough to scare me.
I am sorry friends I am not (and I cannot be a soldier)

I will appear as witness in court case in favour of Marshall but more than that I cannot do.

Sorry if my friends are hurt but I cannot fight terrorist when I know that if I am killed noone will help my family.

Do you know for sure that Mr Ratnesh has not written a complaint. There is nothing in his narrative which indicates that he has not written a complaint.

Also, IMO it is unnecessary to make comments like "in this country we have monkeys like you".

Dear Ratnesh, you have done sufficient and are braver than you imagine. I am happy that you did not shy away from the situation and I hope others who read this learn that you can only get justice when you need it by unconditionally offering someone else get justice. This is the only way a society can remain healthy and evil kept at bay. The CM will and has to accept the course of law and for him it would be already a forgotten matter which he would excuse himself from even later by saying he acted upon the amount of information available to him then. Bravo once again.

Dear Ratnesh, I can understand that the comments which have followed your message are undignified and would repulse you, but the right thing for you would be to report the matter factually at the nearest police station, since the lady in question would still be in town. You happened to be an eye witness and should clear the unnecessary and unjustified mess the air marshal is in. This sort of false chauvinism happens quite commonly on streets where a lady just cries for help and a bunch of Sir Lancelots gather to offer justice without finding facts. The lady in question also needs to be taught a lesson that instructions given on aircrafts are meant for the safety of passengers(besides offering legal recourse to the airlines) and she also needs some punitive correction for misusing her gender and misleading the law into prosecuting an innocent man duty-bound to do what he did.

Was it an attempt to improve the popularity of CM as shown in Hindi movies. Hero fights in front of herion with his known fellows to show off. There could also be a mis understanding or mis communication if both are using different languages. Was the woman so beautiful or sexy so that it will tempt Marshall to go out of way in front of all people and Chief minister and that too in day time?

It is wrong to jump on the conclusion because a lady is involved. It could be a plan of Terrorist groups to demoralise the moral of security forces posted in the valley. Just because a lady has complained, Police arrested the NSG Commando, flight got delayed. It is a matter of investigation if someone has checked in during this delay OR someone has not boardrd the plane again after deboarding.
We have read many news items in newspapers in last few months, reporting about the security personnels molesting a local village woman and got thrashed by the villagers. What is true only god knows, but these increasing reports about defaming security peronnels in Kashmir is an alarming signal.
That lady may be right, but please investigate the matter thoroughly and impartially.
