I remember having seen the report that a very high power delegation from India was visiting Australia holding series of talks or to say negotiating the supply issues with Aussies. The team member was really elated to win the negotiation and this is what the result is!Cat is out of the bag, no wonder! Undoubtedly Indian side had been working overtime to seal the deal with US through backdoor deplomacy because the Prime Minister is more than keen to fulfill his commitments to Mr. Bush.Before the deal is placed on the floor of the House, Negotiation was finished with Countries, is it not strange enough?India has mortgaged its sovereignty to 123 of US - India Nuclear agreement.Sad day for the country.Thank you Mr.Monmohan Singh, our dear PM.

Its not about giving our sovereignity to US...India desperatly needs lot of cheap energy and that too quickly. Nuclear energy is the only feasible option. Manmohan Singh knows that we dont need a Nuclear BOMB as of now.. we need energy...so we should negotitate with other countries but not allow them to dictate terms.. especially the silly Aussies.

USA has two pet dogs...One is UK and other is Australia. India should be very careful when dealing on any security related issues with any of these countries. Better option is to stay away from them and try to work with Russia.

I agree with that but i think India is already working with Russia.There may be a supply problem of uranium from Russia.The main priority for India should be to make itself economically strong so it is not pushed around by foreign countries.It should also not allow itself to become dependent on one type of industry such as IT for its economic strength because IT can leave India whenever other countries start to supply those services cheaper.

Totally agree with you....India needs to make itself strong economically....Engergy is the most important component for this to happen. however i dont wants dogs to USA to dictate terms to India. Australian politicians are bloody racist.their prime minister has proved it many times in the past. I think if we work closely with Russia then the supply problem of uranium can be solved.Yes its true that the russian technology might not be advanced like Americans but i feel Russian are more reliable than Americans. They are our old friends and have proved their friendship in the past.
