RE:what is this nuclear deal ?
by hiral joshi on Aug 16, 2007 12:38 PM  Permalink
That is what half of the MPs are also asking. First inform the Parliament and whole country about the deal and then sign if majority favors.

BECAUSE NUCLEAR REACTORS & URANIUM DO NOT GROW ON TREES.

EITHER SIGN THE DEAL WITH AMERICA OR THE NPT (SIGNED BY 196 COUNTRIES) OR NO MORE URANIUM & REACTORS & SPARE PARTS CAN BE SUPPLIED UNDER THE NEW INTERNATIONAL REGULATIONS. ELSE CONVERT THE NUCLEAR REACTORS INTO WAREHOUSES.

Dear signing this deal with America is like signing NPT.Then why not we straightaway sign NPT and becomes vulanerable to threats of Pak.Next step would be the give away Kashmir under nuclear threat from Pak.
Pak as a superpower can be more beneficial to USA than India.

The US says that the Nuclear deal will be scrapped if India conducts a Nuclear test. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh refutes this. What is correct ? The public have a right to know.

Is that the way your nation did it? No.
Secondly, and far more pertinently, we are one of the very few nations that are surrounded by arch-enemies... CHINA and PAKISTAN. Our security needs are unique to us.
You are only now facing terrorism... we have been doing so for at least 20 years. The number of innocent Indians dying to terorist acts outnumber the total number of american deaths to such causes by a multiple factor... You have had ONE SOLITARY ATTACK in your nation, for which you reduced Iraq to rubble. We have one such attack in every six months.
Please refrain from commenting without complete knowledge. We need a powerfull and credible deterrent. Remember: Before we went nuclear, there was one major war every few years. There has yet to be one since we went overtly nuclear. I rest my case

YOU CAN SIGN A TOTAL DEFENCE PACT WITH AMERICA LIKE TAIWAN, KUWAIT, ISRAEL ETC, THEN IF ANYONE ATTACKS YOU IT WILL BE EQUIVALENT TO ATTACKING AMERICA AND THE FULL FORCE OF THE AMERICAN MILITARY WILL BE USED TO DEFEND YOU.

India dont want that. We did N-test despite of US pressures and excelled under the sanction era and now we are self-sufficient to defend us against China and Pakistan. If the time comes India should do N-test, may be this time an improved fusion device.

Are you an American. If yes then you are again a fool.Your country is run by few handful of capitalists who organise WTO bombimgs and then on that pretext invades countries like Iraq for oil!Your shameless president and media (who call themsleves flagbearers of democracy)are silent of these issues and make laughable comments like we are pro-democracy and we are safeguarding interests of people in Iraq.
What a laughable bunch of people Americans are.Whole world knows their Dadagiri and this is the right time that golbal power is shared by rising Asian powers like CHina and India.I think solidifying our relations with China would be more beneficial than running after USA who has sole aim of maximizing their benefits.Americans are the largest consumer of everything in this world despite the fact they are not producing all of it.Their masses have lived comfortbaly for last few decades on money earned from looting other countries. Now it is becoming difficult for them to survive, thanks to the pressure from China & India.
While China they cannot even think of making trouble with, they are taming India so that it doesnot become a threat to their lavish lifestyle.

It seems our parliamentarians can't agree on anything. The Left sees evil in everything related to USA. I am sure 99% of those opposing do not know or understand what this deal is all about.

US Says entirley different words from PM Manmohan Singh. He also tells History will prove his agreement is good for India.
by Sahadevan KK on Aug 16, 2007 12:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

US threatens to scrap India nuclear deal. The United States is threatening to scrap its nuclear cooperation deal with India if New Delhi conducts a nuclear weapons test. The US State Department and India have given different interpretations of the deal, which gives India access to civilian nuclear fuel and technology. Yesterday Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told his parliament that the agreement would not affect any plans to test nuclear weapons. But a US State Department spokesman says all co-operation will be terminated if a test takes place.

Naturally it will adjourned?? It is mischeifed by PM to Members. Where we will go infact this NUKE deal agreement for further 30 years and at time all the OLD politicans will will not alive and younger generation does not know any thing about this nuke deal agreement and once again we become salve to western country. Why our PM is not discussed before signing this agreement with oppostion and even UPA alliance partners like CPM, DMK etc. Congress wanted for full credit to their party itself even he was discussed in a courtsey manner. In fact if US is a rough country in entire world then Congress is one of worst party in INdia. Since inception the party played many crook politics with other parties and now another harmful decision he took. LET THEM PM SHOULD RESIGN IN A MORAL GROUND. ??

You wanted most culprit, even Manmohan sing told whatever he was did for nation but Modi another crook person who killed many innocent person. Forget whether he is hindu or muslim and all human only and they belongs to somebody brother, sister, father & mother. Take it in a corrective manner don't make politics everytime. Truth is truth then only country will move in a right direction. already we lost many human during particians in right or wrong manner and still this attitude is going on when it will end. There is no use of celebration of 60 years independence if you are talking like this. Please cooly think & pass the correct message to people.
