An agreement with not only USA but any country is important.The MPs represent the People of India.They may have divergent views but the Majority decesion of the Parliament is the Rule and it is democracy.How come the learned Prime Minister Mr.Manmohan Singh sign a pact with another country,especially an issue which has been a point of concern for various political and intellectual personalities of India. Every one is concerned about development,energy needs and seeing India in a better position.That is why every party is reacting now and World Histroy is our guiding priniciple and if cautious decesion is not taken tomorrow we and our children are sufferers. Manmohan singh should reopen the discussion on nuclear energy and the agreement with USA not only with the Political parties but also with wide spectrum of Indian intelligentia and if reasonable opinion comes in favour of it,then he can go ahead,otherwise it is very bad precedent.This is not an issue to be taken as personal prestige or the prestige of Congress party.It is an issue of the whole Nation India. Initiate brainstroming discussion and let the PM respect the parliament,the Supreme decesion making body of India for which he is the Leader. Rahim

you mean he should have taken the opinion of sadhus of BJP who just sit around do nothing, goondas of mulayam , inborn opposition of lefties who wud have opposed even their parents marriage if present then. A person of Manmohans calibre whos is helping you fools come out of jungle and become civilized, lead a better life......what else you need----pervez musharraf? He didnt take anybody into confidence coz he knew nobody wud understand the abc of the deal but rather try to disrupt it! Happy 60th independance day, thats our INDIA.

BJP is opposing just because it is the opposing party. Can you think of any other reason ? They should congratulate the PM for putting a positive spin on the work they started (with the nuclear tests). The left hate the US and thats why they are opposing and they fear india will become a stooge of the west ! The fears are unfounded as india by virtue of its diverse opinions as always shown a strong sense of non-alignment. So i say, whatever is good for India should be good for all MPs. Get a life guys !

who is majority here. obviously when it comes to voting in parlimant the left will walk out(So their votes will not get counted) so the remaining will be BJP and Congress allies. then who is the majority? Dude... naswer it to your self.
