Instead of crying foul over the deal, left should sit with the Government and see how to make the best of the deal to ensure India is able to grow fast economically and strategically.
No doubt some amount of intimidation might have come from US to make India sign the deal. But in world politics these things are to be lived with till we become strong enough to face US.
Whenever the word US is mentioned Left jumps up with all protests. But countries which were predominantly run by Communist party (China and Russia) are now entertaining US companies to start operations on their soil to ensure faster growth of their economies. It should be noted that the Governments of these countries were not able to provide even one square meal per day to their citizens in spite of being run on communist doctrines for more than half century. Only after they opened up their economies to foreign participation from so called capitalist countries they were able to grow and increase the standard of living of their common citizens. Why are the Indian Communist parties not protesting to these countries not to encourage US companies to enter their soil? Is it because they want China to become stronger and more prosperous than India? Where do their minds belong to? To India or to China?

you are wrong Lalithaji...only gentlemen do that but they are not...They are real cheats of India...Even Bin laden is better than Communists.
Why the Leftist make the most noise after the deal is done?If they are so interested in ruling against the deal they should propose and guarantee a the source for fuel to run India's nuclear reactors.Let then bring that first rather than disrupt the deal which ensures the fuel for the most important ingredient for the growth of the Indian economy i.e, POWER for which we are facing acute shortage.
Communists are real cheats of India, no question on that...Just ask this anyone from Kerala or WB. I think what our President (yes he is the only president of India)told two party system is good for India. If congress agree BJP and congress can share 2.5 years each. Why don;t try that instead of going after these fools...
Manmohan singh is right and daring left to do whatever they like. I think it is enough of blackmailing. Any good decision made by Congress government is not liked by the left and they threaten to withdraw support to the government.
I think, we had enough of this. It is the time to show them the door.
If the Left really means business, they should withdraw its support to the UPA govt. But the odds are 99 to 1 that they will not do it, as they do not want to toe the line of BJP in its opposition to the UPA govt.It suits the left to constantly make anti-govt noises without withdrawing the support to the govt in power because of the risks involved for them
