What is so daring about the fact that the honourable PM asking the Left to wiothdraw support. He for sure knows that the Left is not interested in losing power which has come to it accidentally. This is but an effort to project our PM as a tough man though in reality the whole world knows who is pulling the strings attached to him. He makes a statement that not an iota of India's freedom and sovereignity has been surrendered. Coming from a man who has personally surrendered his own freedom and sovereignity to an Italian it looks very ridiculous. Anyhow lets not worry about this cat and mouse game which our so called leaders are playing because all that they want is power and not the country's interests.

Is this criticism of the PM of India as a person or his attitude of not honouring the demand of the Left ? The fact is that any such agreement bears negative affect on India's Nuclear stratagies and ignoring the words of the Left may cost India dearly.

Dear sk,This is not criticising the PM in person but is a definite opinion that any individual at any level who has compromised on his own self esteem cannot but surrender to somebody rather tamely. The agreement in totality is no doubt detrimental to our expansionist designs on the nuclear front. We have in one word been "fooled" by the US into doing their bidding. Thanks to our PM again

and do what allign with cuba, north korea, venezuela, iran and all such rogue nations? left is an irrelevant force and some of their lesser evil leaders hav started realising that India is on the threshold of becoming a great nation and their view is still 200/2000 years old. REMEMBER THEY OPPOSED THE INTRODUCTION OF CALCULATERS IN INDIA WHEN IT WAS FIRST INTRODUCED. that is the mindset of these people who have a very low esteem of the country and the people.

The agreement is good for our country,we are surrounded by unruly neighbours including pakistan, china and bangladesh. We need to have extra security under the wing. This deal should be backed without any resent at all.Atleast leave politics behind in defence issues, We need it the most.

Hello what kind of security you are talking about, these americans are and never be any bodys friend they will use till they need us and then they will throw like a sanitary napkin, it is better to have enemies rather than a oppurtunistic friend who will leave in time of trouble, look what americans have done to other countries they want yes people they will not tolerate others with their own standing in the affairs of world.
pm has done aright thing. theleft parties will not withdraw support to upa as their very survival is at stake. their influence only in wb kerala{not alwayas } &tripura. once upa goes the left parties will benowhere. how long will they stop bjp coming to power?

You too have a flwaed understanding of 12 agreement. Your statement is totallyin correct. India has to sepearate nuclear arangemetns for war purposes and that for generating power.
the left dread prosperity, bcas it wud drive them up the wall. they thrive on poverty, just see, west bengal their show case, for over thirty years, see, rural bengal, u wont belive it, not a single scooter or tractor u see in other states. only kolkata and some big cities escape their all pervasive poverty building programme. nd they are hypocrites of the nth order. they have the support of the masses in west bengal, for whom to vote for any other formation is a sin against the holy spirit. welcome to left ruled bastion west bengal! and these peoiple think they can rule india? the sooner they are driven out better for all of us.

The best people to decide their fate is people of the state. In a democracy they repeatedly affirm faith on them. whey are you making hue and cry...? Read left parties statment on nuclear deal in www.cpim.org. you will know the real implications... just dont cry hoarse
I think the Nuclear Deal shud be supported if it helps to get over the energy crisis; If it is for the interst of the India it has to be supported..but yeah it shud make sure that there is no IAEA interfernece in our military Nuclear plans and also since U.S can't be trusted it has to have provisions for multiple fuel suppliers(I think it has). The Left has to change it's attitude..Logical thinking is missing..and also Indian public has to learn to be more self dependent rather than b the puppet of any super-power..make sure every deal is critically analysed and if it helps the country then why not? But i can't still understand why India has stopped the Long range(ICBM) missile program under U.S pressure..these r the things that make me hate the UPA.But this is the only good thing they have achieved i think so.
