Whatever u think the reality is Congress and CPM are bhai bhai. CPM is opposing nuclear deals but giving support to Congress govt. That means Ok with Cogress and Ok with people. CPM always believe in this theory. And people hv no theory.
Who said India will not be doing nuclear test. In fact India and US Jointly will doing further nuclear test. This is called strategic defence partnership. You guys are fearing for nothing.
Where is our comrade K K Sahadevan, who pops up at every forum on politics and does a propaganda for the Left ?
Does he follow the classic Left philosophy of India - "Do not practise what you preach, so do not preach where you are in power, and preach only where you do not have power to practise" ?
Or is he finding it uncomfortable to defend the hypocrisy of the Communists - "The Left group is a hypocrite which only barks and does not bite, at the same time eating the crumbs of power"..?

If the Left is so concerned about it, why don't they prevent this by withdrawing support to this government? Or at least use that threat to force the government to think again?
This is the fact: They are enjoying power through backdoor and their party game of critcizing everything. They don't want to face the prospect of facing another election and lose whatever they have in the Parliament.
Their concerns are not with India's aam admi anymore. They are more worried about Iran, China, cuba and Nicaragua.
The leftists are caught up in a no-man's: With an outdated theory, big-mouthed talking and blatant inaction.

Good you came with this point. The same hysteria was created for GATT. Everyone (CPM,BJP, JD etc.) in the early 1990s opposed the Congress for GATT talking of a sell out just like they are doing now on the N Deal.
What have been the effects of the GATT in the last 15 years? Have we been wiped out? Have the westerners captured Indian Industry or is it the other way round, Indian companies learning to stand on their own feet, think big and actually go on a buying spree to capture and dominate the world.
Manmohan Singh is right. Not only the left but a lot of us also underestimate the intrinsic strength of India. We need to show more confident in ourselves.

true slaves are the left parties. they have to support congress, otherwise they will be kicked out of the centre. a big kick on their ass is almost impending.
1- Host symposiums and conventions 2- Lead protestors against it 3- Threaten to withdraw support (If there s no effect) 4- Then study about it and realize its already implemented in West Bengal so half mindedly agree it
