Strange indeed

So far as I know, Musharraf is still the amry chief and the president. What additional factor will an emergency bring into this mess called Pakistan?

Musharraf may use declaration of emergency to bypass the supreme court and his nemesis CJ to appoint himself the president for another five years.

Dear Aman Bhai,
I think Sledgerman did not say anything derogatory about Islam. Islamic Republic of Pakistan does not epitomize islam, we all know that.

Pakistan is a failed state run by a dictator who is sandwitched between the mighty US and radical Islamists. With US backing, even Karzai kicks Musharaff's butt in public and then laughs in Kabul.

But, that's nothing new ... Pakistan has mostly been ruled by a dictator who either gets executed or is mysteriosly killed. Other leaders resort to living in exile with no hope of return ... even Imran Khan once said that he would like to go in politics but only if there was democracy in pakistan.

Such is a sorry state of people of Pakistan

Hi,

During the divide it was called a muslim Pakistan and a secular India.

Muslims who thought we can live together with hindus stayed back in India.

Back then both hindus and muslims had fought for freedom and there was a brotherhood.

It has been lost today .

Only what remains is wheather we can live together or not.

India belongs as much to muslims as to Hindus.

You can keep arguing but India is our{ i am a muslim} country and few fools like you cannot demand we live.

tHANKS.

I think you mean "GO AND SUCK JESUS'S DICK" Mushareff and Bush, make a lovely gay couple together. I'm sure Mushy will be happy in Bush's wrinkly neoconservative fascist bumhole.

About time Pakistan was annexed and returned back to India. Just repatriate ALL Pakistani's to Iran and Afghanistan. Iran and Afghanistan, should merge and form a new country, with Persian, Arabic, Farsi, Pashtun and Urdu as it's languages and form a new nation in the process - Iranistan.

Then build a Berlin-wall to separate it from India, to stop Muslims encroaching into majority-Hindu territory. With Indian army, patrolling the border 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (366 days every leap year - forever).

Emergency in Pak
by James Glisson on Aug 09, 2007 02:12 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Very depressing news from Pakistan, and too bad. "Mushy" Musharraf is a sock-puppet of the Empire, but sadly, Benazir (Hot-Lips) Bhutto will be even worse. Looks like more collateral damage of innocents ahead.

It's "sara jahan se achhchha", not "sabse acha"

Believe it or not, the demise of present day Pakistan WILL happen ... or the global war on terror will not be complete.

Please avoid making inappropriate remarks

Each human being is a child of God and inherently good. Pointing fingers at the full community for the actions of a few misguided elements is very wrong. Please have the maturity and wisdom to work towards creating harmony as opposed to posting insensitive remarks. This is not a part of the Indian culture, or even the Hindu school of thought that you are flaunting. Peace!!

The problem is not with the Muslim. The problem is with those politicians who are afraid to declare India as a Hindu state and cry for fake secularism. If India was declared a Hindu Nation, the Muslim would run out of the country automatically.

Only Indian born Religion should be made National Religion sudh as Hindusim, Jainissm, Buddhisim and Sikhism. Corvertion should be made allowed in between this 4 religions only.

Then why you (Muslims) have asked for partitions of the nation on based on religion and when you have asked for partitions why you are still here ?
After partition did Pakistan or Bangladesh honored secularism to every citizen? Then how can Muslim in Indian expect that to their right? Its because of Muslim the nation was divided.

British also have ruled Hindus along with Muslim throughout the Sub continent. Just ruling does not give you eternal right it is the way one ruled makes the difference.

And do not forget one of your ancestors was Hindu who was dragged and forced to conversion by one of those Muslim ruler who ruled India for 800 years
