With 60 MPs the Left today is dictating what is best for the country and the policies that the country needs to follow!!!! what do they have to say about the blatant transfer of nuclear technology by china to pakistan and other countries??What do they have to say about the poor track record of their Bosses in russia on nuclera safety????For all that is wrong with the west,there has been no nuclear disasters??nor any major cases of nuclear proliferation!!!! The communists in west bengal is going at a breaknect speed on setting up SEZs but they will oppose SEZ in the rest of the country!!!! The west bengal govt. privatises loss making public sector units there but wants to invest tax payers money in hopless factories in the rest of the world!!! the Communist govt in WB can kill protesters and not a finger is raised but when the same happens in some other part of the country , they are up in arms!!! How many elections has Prakash Karat Won??? apart from kerala and WB where else do they have a presence??Communists in kerala will oppose retail stores but they are free to be operated in WB...china has suppressed tibet for so loong...the communists wtill think china is the best...they continue to live in fools paradise...anyways the commies feel india is being short changed in the deal but what is their solution??? obviously none!!!! they will oppose everything but have solutions for very few of the matters?? let them look at their own govt in WB for inspiration!!!
When the Senate discusses the issue threadbare, what's wrong if the Indian Parliament discusses the same? Why's the PM so eager to push it without even a discussion? Is there actually something fishy like what the Communists say?

If they withdraw support, the government will fall and in the eventuality of another election, the leftists will not see double figures in their tally of seats (if they win any).
This is the only chance their life to enjoy power without responsibility.
They need not be accountable for anything detrimental to the people, but still can keep enjoying their official party game - barking, barking and barking. Criticising everything.
These people cannot bring about any change in society.

Let Mrs Gandhi maske a statement now on the nuclear deal. Lets see how much she understands it. Instead of making donations to flood victims in Tamil Nadu as chairperson of UPA, lets see how much light she throws on this subject. She would be speechless.

Being from mafialand she knows how much to extract from them -to be stashed away in swiss bank- for selling this country's nuke sovereignity!! Of course she will also collect some bonus, say 1000 crores, for the cong party to fight the forthcoming lok sabha election! So now calculate what the deal is worth for her!!!

Every communist student leader from JNU wants america out but when they passout they r the first to join MNCs.
let this nuke deal usher in the best hour in indian parliament's history. let the whole country see the drama unfold; it can only be best for india. do not trust leaders who say they know what is best for the country, and hence the people do not need to know. let it all hang out, out there in open. let every mp burn midnight oil, get to the full facts of the deal, ask tought questions, and make up her/his own mind. the indian parliament needs to put its foot down, and tell the unelected prime minnister mm sigh that he does not represent people, and that the wole parliament will decide thr' a vote. the indian people deserve no less.

I fully agree with you, Mr.Pradip. MM Singh has no right to thrust this deal down the country's throat. To say that "as per the Indian constitution the govt in power need not seek parliamentary approval for signing any international deals and treaties" is nothing short of treachery. The other day Arnab of Times TV was fervently arguing that "the PM having gone down the road so far with Bush cannot obviously pull away from it just because it not in India's interest". What a stupid statement. Bharat Karnad, who was responding at the other end aptly said, "Manmohan Singh has no right to decide the country's fate by mortgaging its nuke sovereignty and security just for the sake of writing his name in history". I am not any fan of the irrational, treacherous communists of India. I am sure their opposition to the Deal is based on their blind opposition of US on every issue. But as far as I see, this 123 Deal is a pure and simple Hatchet Plan of US to "halt, cap, roll back and ultimately dismantle all nuke programs of all non-weapon states". A democratic nation with a population nearly 4 times that of US is being as a non-weapon state despite the entire world knowing that we not only possess the conventional nuke weapons, but also the thermonuclear ones with IBMs, IRBMs and ICBMs to carry them across oceans and continents. What we need is to build at least 5000 war-heads to show what India can do if we set our minds to. Then the Yankees will know how to respect us.
The communists are fooling people. They know that there willnot be any voting on this issue. They also are not prepared to withdraw support to UPA on tis issue. So what are they trying to prove???? That Barking dogs never bite????
At the out set I apologise if I hurt any body. But let me be frank. The communists owe their allegiance to either Russia or China. Whare were they in 1962 when poor Nehru was cheated by "Indo chini Bhai Bhai". It was eventually Britain who came to the rescue of India. Can any communist challenge this? I am 72 year old and watched India suffer because of the Chinese aggression. Can I ask all the commies to answer me? what qwewre You doi8ng in 1962?

I am not fan of the communists. In fact I despise them. Nehru did not need the help of the communists to prove that he was incompetent!!!!!
Most of the ills of this country can be traced back to the incompetence of Nehru and the perpetuality of his family ruling India.

to understand that sir... u should know what is communism! communists doesn't believe in boundaries. for them a sufferer or surpressed in any part of the world are their comrades and a capitalist in India is their enemy too.
are very confused. Neither can they pull down UPA government as it will lead to elections nor can live with UPA govt as they disagree with their policies. Anyhow one constant policy of theirs is to oppose everything, they opposed both nuclear tests and nuclear deal. They should learn from Chinese commies and help in growth of the country.
