This is an absolute disgrace that Indian Govt. puts up with this kind of behaviour. This is nothing more than a propaganda by some vested interests. Who in the world has so much time to do bring water from thousands of miles away to do some religious cleansing of Gods. Can you imagine the number of people involved in this kind of non-productive work which is good for nothing. If you really want to do something for the society, then go to the hospitals and do some volunteer work, do something for the poor who are starving, do something for the little children who have no one to look after them, do something for old people who are so helpless they can't even feed themselves, that is the real service to God. Just getting a bunch of hooligans to do something like this in the name of religion is utter non sense. It is these people who are blocking the highway, WHY SHOULD THE POOR TRUCK DRIVER BE BLAMED FOR THIS, WHEN ALL HE IS TRYING TO DO IS, WORK HARD AND MAKE AN HONEST LIVING TO FEED HIS FAMILY. ARE THE HIGHWAYS WORTH CRORES OF RUPEES CONSTRUCTED FOR THE TRUCKS TO HAUL GOODS, OR FOR THESE KANWARIAS TO RUN THEIR BLOODY BUSINESS OF HAULING WATER ON THE ROADS TO PURIFY THE GODS ? WHEN IS OUR INDIA GOING TO WAKE UP, NO WONDER WE WERE SLAVES IN OUR OWN COUNTRY. THIS IS ABSOUTELY INTOLERABLE, THAT SOME IDIOTS DECIDE TO BLOCK THE HIGHWAY IN THE NAME OF RELIGION AND THEN BURN THE PUBLIC PROPERTY. HAD IT HAPPENED IN A WESTERN COUNTRY NOT ONLY THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN THROWN IN JAIL...
Twelve Kanwarias have been arrested after police in Haryana lathicharged pilgrims who went on a rampage. Kanwarias were protesting after three pilgrims were run over by a speeding truck.
This kind of hoogalism,rowdyism & vandalising public & private property/vehicles has become a kind of norm by these UNRULY Kanwarias.Most of them are not devotees but just vagabonds/anti socials who use this opportunity to indulge in every possible way to create mischief.It is also time for some free rich food. It is time the goverment takes strict action & stops playing to these kanwaries tunes... in UP they do not allow traffic on the highways.... all this in the name of God.
Whats the real meaning in the ritual and when u walk for days and carry the holy water, when u cannot be tolerant and patient. Its true the truck ran over them. When they destroy the busses and public property, (people who pay taxes would never do this.)When they leave their homes barefoot to walk they need to know thats its not a easy task. Why do they walk, they can take a bus or train if they cant be patient and nonviolent.
As an indian i am really worried to see such things happening very often nowdays. We should not damage the government property in turn the tax on all products are going to raise indirectly. So we should be patient enough to solve the problems bcos there is always a solutuion.
Truck drivers are running trucks after taking liquior and smoking ganja they ride / HIT any one shame for traffic police there is no rules and regulations

We agree to u Mr.Sunil but have u seen these kanwar walking on the road ? How they behave ? They come in the middle of the highway asking for money by the way of begging.They invite death for themself.
If u travel from Delhi to Dehradun u will see the kind of rude and stupid manner they walk on the road,our adminstration has given them importance which they use in wrong manner.The complete strech from delhi to dehradun is blocked one way for them.WASTE OF TIME AND MANPOWER.FUNNY IT IS

I agreed here with you YG. Their behaviour is totally non acceptable.....here I dont mean all the Kanwaria's but yeah most of them are uneducated and without road sense. they are creating nusense on the road. Govt should think of better controlling them before taking any action on the vehicles on Highway.
We have the sympathy for the family who lost there child in incident. We are in Gandhi's country where all the issues are sorted out by non-violence then why should we damage govt. property which indirectly is our property. By doing such activities we are harming ourself only. By blocking the road million of persons are facing lot of problems , by doing such activities we are killing our as well as others precious time. So best way to overcome with the problem is to caught the main culprit and hand him over to police.
