The slum-scam is several decades old, as evident from the following old news scraps. (1) SLAMMING SLUMS [Videh Upadhyay, The Statesman, Monday, April 10, 2000] The supreme court observed: %u201CRewarding an encroacher on public land with free alternate sites is like giving a reward to a pickpocket. The department of slum clearance does not seem to have cleared any slum despite it%u2019s being in existence for decades. In fact more and more slums are coming into existence. Instead of %u2018Slum Clearance%u2019 there is %u2018Slum Creation%u2019 in Delhi.%u201D (2) SC fixes civic code: No slums, no littering [The Times of India, Friday, February 18, 2000] (Also, SC bans slums in Delhi [Press Trust of India, The Statesman, Friday, February 18, 2000]) NEW DELHI: In a major judgment ... the Supreme Court has observed ... %u201Cestablishment or creating of slums... appears to be good business and is well organised ... Large areas of public land, in this way, are usurped for private use free of cost. Its difficult to believe that this can happen in the Capital without passive or active connivance of the land owning agencies an/or the municipal authorities. ... %u201Cthe promise of free land, at the taxpayers' cost, in place of a jhuggi, is a proposal which attracts many land grabbers. He also said he has two flats, two shops and seventeen cars and is worth Rs 10 crore.WAT TO SAY NOW...HIS STATEMENT SAYS EVERYTHING...A CANTEEN OWNER OWNS 17 CARS...isnt that shocking n tells the whole story itself??? god saves our country.
Although Govt. plans for the welfare of the poor people and make schemes they fall in the hands of Kingpins who amass wealth to the detriment of the beneficiaries. Had any of the schemes implemented reached the deserving there would have been reduction in poverty. While Govt. spends huge budget allocations the state of the people for whom the shceme was meant remian so even after implementing hundreds of the shcemes. ACtually if Govt. can make the benefciaries come together and then plan a collective program for them then the scope for kingpins will be minimised. All political parties make their workers as beneficiaries. If you want to give a house to a person not having haouse there will be party workers and they continue to corner any number of house given under that scheme. similarly land distribution to landless. Why cannot agriculture benationalised and the land less deployed their for farming and they are provided with food, shelter and clothing so that there will be benefits of largescale farming and development of the nation and its GDP. Anyway people forget about the kingpins shortly and they even can enter Parliament with the blessings of one political partyor other. Mulayam Singh Yadav gave a seat to Poolandevi and created a precedent that bandits can enter Parliament. P.S.R.SWAMI
The congress reign is always synonymous with the scams. Poor Malhotra is only the custodian of the properties & cars. The real owners are the politicians in the power. Sonia Madam declared in her return that she does not own any casr. Now we know who keeps custody of her cars.

Contd.... During 1984 - 1990, Ramesh was very young and thin when he elected to Kerala Assembly. We heard at that time when he was pledged in to the Assembly, in the Assembly House itself he began drama by touching the old and renowned Congress Leader Mr. K. Karunakarans feet before the public. Sometimes it might be in the Delhi resident Malayalees memory that Delhi Television reported that fact - Touching anybody's feet at Assembly House was an uncommon practice. Thus he played and grown up. Totally, he humiliated the voters who voted and witnessed his win.
All Indians are aware of Mr. Karunakaran & his kid%u2019s history. His greediness made him into a normal common man from the Super Star of Indian politics. Now too he is eager to be in Congress and is eagerly waiting for something signal from Sonia. I am leaving Umman Chianti to others. Thanks.

Dear Bala, here in India now a days it%u2019s a trend in common EVENTHOUGH SON'S DEATH OCCURS DAUGHTER IN LAWS TEARS IS A MUST. What we say about our Congress Party, alas all the things are ruined one by one.
We assess the total trend of the states too. Sorry for mentioning here about the opposition front of Kerala here, what the boys of congress; one Umman Chandi, Ramesh Chennithala, they keep always nuisance for the ruling front. Each and every thing they are in the battle front as if they are in the ruling front. There the Chief Minister is nothing and these curse to the State is like the domestic animal, dogs in the cattle shed they do not eat the grass of the cows and in spite these pet ones are a head ache to those cattle%u2019s who need grass. Here anybody may not be felt that the ruling front is in tact. All parties are severely distressed with their internal rivalry and misguided Medias are pouring hot oil to day to day problems.
