I am with U and agree with ur view he is there coz of his crimnal deed, after body in the world feels sorry after what he has done so according to the media all should be with us and not behind the bar whats if he an actor or his family is well known personality the last word is that they are equal in front of law and should not be left so that we feel unsecure about this law
Why in the world has Sanjay Dutt getting so much news coverage. Please stop the same let him enjoy his Honeymoon in the jail and please do not give his day to day activity report to us. Why should you give a person who has comited a crime so much hype and importance. A crime is a crime and it has to be punnished. In the Blast case there are many criminals with different punishment where is Sonia and what is she doing for them if she cares so much for Sanjay. They also have family. Please stop all news on Sanjay Dutt.

C D Tamhankar , those families who lost there bread earners don't need a write up here , they need bread , have u done anything for them , except for writing here abt sanjay dutt verdict and all ..

Do you think possessing a rifle is a crime? He did not kill anybody with that. If MLAs, MPs do such crime, why r the courts giving a lenient view for them? even after he was released on bail, did he commit any crime? If that was his nature, he would have dodged the police by hiding instead he came and surrendered to the police. I sympathise on the blast victims, but what did the police do to nab the main culprit? they had coaxed all other young boys to commit the crime and now they are undergoing the punishment. The punishment given to Sanjay is too much for a small mistake he did in his life.

It is just an eye wash. A sensational episode was just enacted. Many believe that only Muslims are involved in the total process. Sunju baba is awarded punishment of 6yrs of riourous imprisonment. That is 72 months of government hospitality... He has already enjoyed 16 months of it...... 72-16=56 That is AK56 dude... what he possessed..........illegally
This is pathetic. To get out of jail he will do any thing. His sister went yestarday to plead with Sonia and Sonia mad lend her a shoulder . I dount if ever priya dutt would have done something like that for any one in her constituency who is in same fate. that time she will speak about law points.

If your sibbling underwent the same situation, irrespective of the punishment, you would also have done the same thing. Relationship speaks my dear.....That is what is lacking in today's generation.
India is the world's best example of Irony.They can let free big culprit makers just because they are big politicians and to show Indian justice system is alive they catch hold of personalities like Sanjay Dutt.First catch and put behind bars all those politicians who have been caught red handed and let scot free.

well known actor-director was possessing transmitter durinh Indo-pak was of 1965. transmitter was traced, because the signals sent to pakistan were intercepted by mumbai police.
Police did not have guts to arrest / catch / book him.
