Best India-US could have arrived at
by Bodh Ramdeo on Aug 03, 2007 06:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The luddite Communists always denounce and try to scuttle every attempt at closer Indo-US relations but are always so eager and obliging in praise of their masters in Beijing.
Thankfully, for once, the jelly-bellied Cong stood firm against these treacherous Commie scummies who are so bent on destroying this accord at the bidding of their foreign masters.

Good Deal
by vikas sethi on Aug 03, 2007 06:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Left and third front were expected to oppose the deal due to their anti American stance.

Wonder why BJP is playing the opportunistic politics bcoz it was the one who initiated the whole process and in fact committed India to a self imposed moratorium.

Well I thought both BJP & Congress should share the kudos for the deal. Seems like BJP does not want to bask in the glory and is bent upon handing the same to the Congress on a platter.

Pray, tell me how was this a BJP initiative? They did go to US with a "deal" that was thrown out of window in 1 week.

BJP is a great ideological party, but cannot execute anything. They are a big diplomatic ZERO.

With all the anti paki rhetoric and pro hindu agenda, when Mushy came to Agra, he practically spanked Atal's wrinkled backside. BJP always makes good opposition.

I was confused by the comments in different new channels with different opinoions on this agreement.

But i would like to thank Rediff for publishing this comments of Mr.Uday Bhaskar, who cleared my doubts and Now i strongly feel some thing really good was done in India favour in this agreement.

We all hope to see the implementation of this agreement to reduce the power shortage in the power starved states of India, which will ultimately accelerate the economic development of India.

God bless India and USA.

If a learned person like Uday Bhaskar has given a green signal to the Indo-US nuclear deal then the draft must be in Indian interest. The third front and the communist parties have raised objections to it. communists have habit of opposing anything in the Indian interest. Now the third front has picked up the bad habit of communists who are stooge of china.

AMERICA IS NO ONES FRIEND
by Sameer Bhagwat on Aug 03, 2007 05:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

God made land and man made boundaries........not satiated with it he started fighting for land. Comeon friends let's grow up into mature earthlings. Animals fight for food, territory and sex.God created us for a different reason. Let's be inquisitive for what he has done that rather than quibling over petty issues. America is a land of cultureless brats who once encroached upon someone else's land and mercilessly decimated the denizens..........RED INDIANS. America strengthened its economy first by agriculture(owing to it's vast encroached land) and then by inventing and marketing weapons of mass destruction to countries willing to die and kill others.AMERICA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CURRENT DAY PROBLEMS OF TERRORISM. The cold war between US and USSR was the harbinger to the AFGHAN problem........AMERICA IS NO ONE'S FRIEND.

We are enterying a deal with USA, it is not a question of friendship.
Deal is to open the doors of Nuclear suppliers Group ( 45 Countries) to start selling Nuclear fuel as well as components to India.

Deal can be with anyone. It is purely Commercial give and take.
