Indians -- till recently -- were proud that the "islamaphobia" of jihadi elements had not over taken both the educated as well as uneducated Muslims in India.
The reasons were two-fold:
1. They and their families had stayed back in India of their own free will. It was of their choice that they had accepted the faith they had in the Indian Constitution and the Secular Indian Democratic System.
2. They had integrated well in the Indian culture and milleu and helped to enrich it in many ways.
However, what irked the rest was when,in the last thirty-forty years or so, Indian Muslims began to celebrate Pakistan's cricket victories, not ours.
Then after 1971, the stream of refugees from Bangla Desh, and the terrorist elements with them, put a strain that lead Bal Thakeray-types to speak viscerally about them generally.
This gave rise to Jan Sangh and RSS and other Trishul wielding Sangh Parivar groups -- lead by Togadias and Modidas -- taking over from a midly yapping BJP and turning it into a rabidly venomous BJP.
This scared a lot of Indian Muslims, made some of them easy targets to be effortlessly roped into the band of circumcised bhaijans.
Yet there was hope as the educated among them shunned the lure of easy money and other baits.
The Ahmeds are a unique case where a family of doctors was infiltrated and indoctrinated.

The only reason many Muslims stayed back in India during partition was because they were too poor to move....most of the rich Muslims shifted without any second thoughts because they could start a new life in Pakistan. Once they stayed back in India, I wish they knew how to peacefully coexist with other religions. Shame on those who betray their own nation and fellow citizens. They should know that nowhere else in the world can they have a secure life other than India.

Well said muthu.. I am a hindu, and feel ashamed of these kind of acticities done by so called hinduists.. But then, its the same with muslims I guess.. I feel that fault lies on 1. Parents, who have knowingly or unknowingly supported him for all his actions, they should have taken proper care and pulled out this brillient student from this hazardous activity.
2. The teachers of engineering college, when they found changes in him, they failed to inform the necessary authorities and parents, and do correcting measures. More fault lies in Dr. siddeshwara, when he noticed that he became reserved, he could have counseled him as a principle, but he failed, along with his other collegues, infact entire college is to be blamed, I feel that in that college there may also been some more kafeel in making, unless that college dont take strict measures, the pointer of fault crime is more on the college, than any other thing

Well, lets not bring politics into it. yes, I would blame the parents first. They are they ones who feed anti hindu, anti christian and anti jew as a kid. And when they grow up, it makes it more easier for them to fall in the hands of thos sick idiots. But then I cannot blame his teachers. Its their parents who I would blame.
