This is merely harnessing slave labour. They are doing manual jobs, not learning to set up a self supporting economy whaich is the soultion to the crisis in the rural areas. Paying Rs.25,000 compensation is less than 2 weeks executive salary!This for a life. What is India doing to the agriculture? Everyday you read new techniques, alternative energy plants being applied and setup in the world's poorer nations, India with millions of graduates does less than nothing. How many agricultural colleges and research centres are there? What par tof this knowledge is transmitted to the kissan? Anybody knows the answer tot his?

I dont agree with you. I'm from a rural area. these people have nothing to do while they are not harvesting. this is a great idea (i'm not a congress supporter) by the Govt to make them work and make some extra rupees rather than spending (on booze) wht they have earnt thru harvesting.
I agree with you on agriculture...The govt needs to do a lot to improve it...

well Mr.T, Ur message is quite acceptable,but this project may improve people's income in terms of money, i don't think it will be good for set up their economy which is the soultion to the crisis in the rural areas.
