WHY? !!) THESE R PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY GAVE ORDERS TO KILL HUNDREDS OF INNOCENT INDIANS. SANJAY DUTT AND HIS FATHER LATE SUNIL DUTT AT THE RISK OF THEIR OWN LIVES WENT OUT AND SAVED MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE DURING THE BOMBAY RIOTS. THIS DID NOT PLEASE BJP AND SHIV SENA AND THEY GOT THREATS FROM THEM. SO HE HAD TO GET WEAPONS (WHICH OFCOURSE WAS AN ILLEGAL THING TO DO) TO PROTECT HIMSELF AND HIS FAMILY. THE THAKREYS AND MODIS OF THE WORLD ARE ROAMING FREELY WHILE POOR SANJAY LANGUISHES IN PRISON. YE KAISA INSAAF HAI MR. SHENOY??? These are all stories made up. Sanjay Dutt actually didnt ventut of his home to help people during riots. See even an educated peron like is being misleaded easily.
Regret to see that all of us are such big fools. I am no fan of Sanjay & believe that his convviction & jailing is correct. But hailing it as a victory of justice is taking maters too far. If nobody is above the law, how come politicians, dons & goons accused of henious crimes as murder, rape, dacoity walk free whereas the so called literate people are celebrating the victory of justice as Sanjay Dutt has been jailed. Suggest that the media & the intelligensia leave Sanjay alone to undergo his jail term & concentrate on other high profile cases (Shibu Soren, Jessica Lal, Priyadarshini Mattoo, Nitish Katara,BMW etc.) where the accused are most likely to go away scot free.

dude...ur kinda messed up...not everything in this world has to be about "hindus' n 'muslims' all the time...For a change...u shud call a spade a spade and not try to give issues religious overtones unnecessarily.
I love Sanjay Dutt, i love him for his acting in films, i will love to see him in action again in films and i am sorry for him. but after all what he did at the age of 34 was not an episode of picture. so he need to be punished according to law. law has given him right to approach SC. he can and will do it. we all should not shower our comments over him keeping in mind what he doing in films but what he did in real life. although he has done many good causes too after that incident but still he has to face results what he did wrong in the past. This is also a fact that many like sanjay dutt who have links with UW or are in illeagal activities are not booked yet. but this fact should not help to avoid someone who has been caught.
At least there are some journalist who can write such article. Really daring Mr Shenoy. I think The sentence that has been given to dutt is really good and it should not have been less. The actor has done good job in munna bhai but acted in the real life as a criminal. So lets appreciate munna bhai and deprecate sanjay dutt.
T V R Shenoy, You look very cheap and small when you write like this for a person who had shown great corporation,patience and improvement in last 14 years. He had enough money at the age of 34, he could had easily settled anywhere in the world like Dawood. So don't throw all your big words for a person who respect law. Name a politician who had remained under law in india ..Law is a joke for them.

Yes, Sanju baba has shown lot of improvement. Earlier he was taking illegal arms from terrorists, later he improved to only talking to them on long distance calls! A great improvement indeed!

yeah sanju baba is respecting law because he has nowhere else to run. If other convicts can get life term for lending maruti car, this guy to be hanged for lending his house as base for landing those arms. Now that he is munnabhai, there is public sympathy!!! Just because some politician, some criminal got away doesn't mean that sanju baba should get away. And TVR is making point, its just that you love munnabhai, or probably you are one of his friends or relatives or fan !!!

well!! no one said Mr Modi from gujarat is above law and he can do what he wants!! the law only requires an witness ..how many of us are ready to provide that when the need rises!!! btw when it comes to sanjay .. did he attend the dinner with dawood thinking that he was a saint!! there are lot of stuffs he cud have done .. cud have informed police about them .. may be if at all police had arrested even some .. they wud have known the plot .. and saved some 256 lives ..well sanjay wasnt poor to get a pistol legally .. he cud have got one for each one of his family .. y did he choose an AK47!! btw was he having it in his hands and stayed with the whole family members through out gaurding his home sitting next to the watchman !!!!!! please!!!
