It is Kalyug...
by manoj sharma on Aug 02, 2007 03:55 PM  Permalink

IT Jobs are just time pass jobs..People do time pass at companies only...even after knowing tht there is no future, Security,Stability..Wheather Permanent or Contract basis. For a time being only this job is good...but for a family person, definitely IT jobs are not good. Then person can take care only either of his Job or his family.

yes there should be two divisons for IT companies

one for man only
one for woman only.

let those apart, so that they can understand value of opposite sex.

we should enforce strict decipline to the married women in the work place , stop going to nightclbs, pub.. even sometimes checking in Hotels and resorts....

Hr should implement strict vigil on this....so tht we can control the divorce in IT industry...

Enforcing strict vigil on the wife and husband can do anything in his office and outside!! May be that is what you guys want to enforce on women across!! Male chauvinism!! You people are so bent upon increasing your family status, bank balances and enjoy other luxuries, that you leave your wives to enjoy their lives as they want. Strict vigil does not mean that she should not be allowed to go out of the house, it means that even men can be faithful and truthful to their women.

Bangalore: The rising divorce rate in the IT sector.
by on Aug 02, 2007 03:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The reasons for rising rate of divorce is, couple get less time to talk to each other as they return home very tired and go to sleep immediately as their food requirements are met in the IT company itself. There is no need for them to look after each other as all their requirements are met at the company itself.
Government should study the problem and exploitation by foreign/local companies by entrusting night duties especially should be stopped by bringing a suitable legislation. Employees should not be asked for night duties as a regular feature.
When sufficient time is available for the couple to meet each other and take care of each other their married life will be happy and they can live as active as others in the society and decrease the cases for divorce.

GREAT NEWS
by Soman soman on Aug 02, 2007 03:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

IF HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE NOT MATCHING THIS PROBLEM WILL HAPPEN. AT FIRST SELECTING THRU ' WINDOWS ' NOT GUD. 'COBOL' IS ALREADY OUT OF FASHION. FIRST ' MEMORY' CHECKING IS NECESSARY. IF THE ' HARD DISK' IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY THE ' SOFTWARE' WILL GET ANGRY. MORE PROBLEM IS SOME OTHERS INSERTING THEIR ' USB' IN SYSTEM. IF 'VIRUS' IS ONCE EFFECTED, DEATH IS SURE. ALSO UNNECESSARY HANDLING OF 'HUB ' IS NOT GUD CUZ 'MOTHERBORD' WILL GET DAMAGE. THIS IS BIG PROBLEM.

REALLY A NICE COMMENT. nO USE OF BLAMING THE sYSTEMS AND IT IS TOOLS. Human being needs something natural/god given/god created. S/w and H/w cannot equalise the gods creations. Keep away the IT concenpts in the house. Besdt things is not to marry IT people. They know to count money, system of IT not M/W(mental ware)..

it is not for money rather...
by Chanakya on Aug 02, 2007 03:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

money? for whom? to the employee or to the employer? In most of the cases, it is the fear of losing jobs that womenfolks sit late and work so as men. Think that India of 5 years back with the unemployment problem...these so called IT companis and BPOs created thousands of jobs and improved the standard of living and increased the purchasing power of educated youngsters... Thus to keep the standard of living and to protect the employment, they are, whether or not necessary, sometime keep hanging around the office till late evening...ofcourse, there are genuine cases too..
But, ultimately, it is abusing of labor by the employers to earn that quick money/profit and grab whatever projects come in their way, with little or no addition to the workforce.
Unless, the attitude of the entrepreneurs/management changes and takes a call on giving importance to the employees personal life too, we can only expect the situation to worsen in the days to come...
Not only Bangalore, it could spread in all IT parks and Smart cities...

What is standard of living? Who determines it?
Some time back Margaret Mead, the celebrated
Anthropologist chided the social scientists
at an international conference, that who are
these western sociologists to setup stanadard
of living in African and Asian countries?
Instead of respecting the diverse lifestyles
and cultures, the westren nations are imposing
their own lifestyles thus creating clashes.
It is not surprising to observe the alien
cultural practices in IT companies in dress,
language, food and mannerism resulting in
friction at home. The first victim at IT work
is Bindi and Bangles for women in addition to
Indian dress. The friction at home with
families is slowly resulting in seperation.
Why should American companies care about our
socity and its future? They are interested in
the bottom lines of their companies and will
get out when it is red. A weak political
environment is also helping them.
It is time that government wakes up and lead
in proper direction. Money may give freedom
and choice but it will also bring bad things
to a traditional society and youth.
