Support Obama
by patriot on Aug 01, 2007 11:10 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I used to think Clinton as friend of India. But Obama's statement makes me feel that he can be better for us. I hope, he is consistent about what he says and does not change colors like Clinton did on outsourcing.

Why not earlier!
by Rakesh Raina on Aug 01, 2007 11:09 PM  Permalink

Not sure whether its a election gimick. But one thing was sure during Afganistan raid in early 90'2, US knew that Osama and its aids are being sheltered by Paki's, but no action was taken against so called allies. Now when they have been screwed up by terrorists, feel the pain now. But as a Indian, would be waiting for the day, if Obama's word are put into practice, as we have been suffering a lot from last 20 years by this terrorism.

Dear Mr, Obama is talking about the strikes on terrorists target not about the civilian locations and yes my life is more valuable than the people who support terrorism in any part of this world.

paki is an epicenter of terrorism. yesterday also, a paki bastrd was killed in kashmir. Some treatment is necessary for them, it seems like they didn't learn anything. Unless they learn lesson, they continue do these activities like that.

Just an Election Talk
by Hyderabad Contact on Aug 01, 2007 10:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

George Bush had already tried and failed in Pakistan, US has failed in Iraq and in Afghanistan, and is facing threats from Iran, with crippling economy and broad trade deficit Obama can only choke Indian IT firms from taking away jobs from US.
We know what happen with Germans and Soviet when they take on with more than one country same time and taking on any other country let alone Pakistan will be the last thing the US can imagine.

Do it and we are with you
by Indian Muslim on Aug 01, 2007 10:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is a welcome news, atleast do it for the peace in south Asia.

India in particular spends crores of rupees on stopping infiltration of terrorist. Not to mention the amount of damage caused by attacks.

Peace and harmony in India.

I think Indian govt should even send troops and give financial aid as well.

Better to give Air bases and support from Indian Navy to carry out attacks other then logistics support

WAIT A MINUTE....

When US can act to bomb Paki (Peace be upon America) to protect their self-interests...why can't INDIA do the same?

Why can't we bomb Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi why US is making jolly of NWFP/FATA regions.

That way there will a barren geographical area called 'Once used to be Paki played both sides of fire and ended as ashes'

Obama
by sri on Aug 01, 2007 10:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Just election hype! When Bill Clinton was running for President he said that the senior Bush was "..mollycoddling the Butchers of Beijing" and that he wouldnt stand for that. Guess what happened. He did worse and what's more - he went to China and told them that they should work together to have India and Pak roll back their nuke program. What a joke - a partnership with a country that was part of the problem and that had proliferated to Pak!

terrorism after 9/11 is the front runner of every US election. People don't care about healthcare, jobs or education as much as they do about terrorism.

For now, US needs pakistan and Musharaff has been loyal to his commitment to Bush despite anger of radical islamists in Pakistan. Even his life is in danger, yet he has shown aboslute loyalty to Bush.
