Unnecessary Media hype
by ajith kumar on Aug 02, 2007 10:23 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I dont understand the reason of giving such and media hype to this person. this is utter nonsense. One more incedant happend in bangalore at the same time. The death of one Army major. None of the politicians visited his house. No media has given much hype to that incedant. He is the one who give his life for the nation. Ironically we are giving importance to a person who accused for a terror plot. We saw Kumaraswamy with a monkey laugh along with this Suspect. It is a shame to the nation. These politiians who play vote bank politics should be a victim of these terrorists.

Absolutely correct. Media in India gets their priority wrong. I was and still shocked that there is almost nil coverage on the death of this Army Major during the recent infiltration attempts at the Pak-India border. He is the true son of Karnataka but unfortunately visiting his family may not bring vote bank, hence our reverred politicians make their own choices.

Peace
by Saleem Ghaffer on Aug 02, 2007 09:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Lot of the inciters in this board are from Pakistan. We should all be peacefull as our culture is peacefull unlike Pakistan. Some Pakistanis are coming to our message board and inciting hatred among us. We are all brothers and should respect each others religion. Just report abuse and all of us should respect all religions. United we stand divided we fall. India is a peacefull country. If we are united no Paki or ARABi can do anything to us. All violence is bad. In a democracy like ours there is no cause for violence.

Our freind Saleem Ghaffer is subscribing to a cliche. All "Pakis" or "Arabis" are not out to harm India. We should learn to respect those decent people in Pakistan and Arab countries who condemn violance and terror. In the same breath, I agree to the fact highlighted by Saleem that mutual repect to all religions and tolerance are that distinguish a civilized society from a barbaric one.

Respect your views on Unity. However, not all arabs or Pakis are out there to get us. Lets not generalize things here. We should rather stick to rectifying our issues and naturally people wouldnt be able to spread hatred.

Jiyo Haneef ...
by Hooter on Aug 02, 2007 09:52 AM  Permalink

Jiyo yaar ...

Enjoy life when the sun is shining. Hold press conferences 2 times a week.

Give updates on your family members & how pious you are & your family members, how many times you pray everyday ... blah, blah ...

These are things of NATIONAL IMPORTANCE.

All great reporters like BARKHA DUTT, SARDESAI, SRINIVASAN & secular press should cover their daily routines.

Other matters of the nation hardly matter.

Enjoy the Indian Tamasha !

Haneef contests Australian govt's claims
by ak on Aug 02, 2007 09:28 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

hi friends,

do you remember the trial of Dara in Orissa where chrisitian missionaries were burnt ?
that trial took only few months and Australian ambassdor remain present in trial before the court to put extra influence on court.

Dara was sentenced to capital punishment ignoring his pleas and no reasoning was given to his arguement.certainly this happenned under the influence of Australian government and to show secularism indian government made escape goat to Dara.

now in Haneef's case Australian Government obliged Indian government to show Congress government again secularism.

what a pity situation for hindus in India !!!!!

Hey Stupid,
Dont compare the two things. Dara should have been stoned to death but not to worry he will surely be punished by God for taking innocent lives in a brutal manner. And may god punish all those who support him in words and deeds.

Margret,

CONVERSION IS A SENSITIVE ISSUE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

India more so ... becoz you are vonverting poor, GULLIBLE people.

And the semitic religions like Christianity & Islam thrive on Conversions. Even Pope gives direct calls for converting as many people as possible.

Conversion in an Educated & Developed society is different than converting poor, hungry & gullible people.

Conversion should be a matter of choice and not a pre-condition to some facilities. Then it becomes a force to convert.

Do you remember when the Christain Crusaders burned the Jews alive in Jeruselum and slaughters 70000 muslim in 1099. what will happen to those christains? what was the governing force behind them? ( it was religion). When Saladin ayubi took jeruslum, he did not kill any people, but gave immunity to all the soldiers. ( it is always better to forgive and give chance for repentence rather judge peopel as god would.

I agree to what you say for Dara. but in a country where we have freedom of speech why cannot ak voice his opinion. Debate him rather throwing curses on him. No Doubt Dara deserved capital punishment. but your statements sounds communal too.

well said margaret, the debate is between human lives and death, not between hindus, muslim, and christian.
