He is an offender
by Muralidharan Iyengar on Aug 01, 2007 01:24 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I have a strong opinion that Australian authorities have not used 3rd degree methods what indian police would do for petty theft cases on Haneef. Had they used such methods, he would have conveyed the truth. Thank not GOD but australian authorities for leaving him unharmed for this alleged conspirator. If he is really known this crime, someway truth should unfold and the guilt is to be punished.

Please go thru the chat lines he had with his brother. What was the necessity for him to start immly after chat? Why dint he try booking tkts soon he heard of his new born? Why dint he book his 2way tkt? All his connections seeming to be that he knew it b4. As i saw the interview, he is a good actor. Let him join these cinemas n earn money n enjoy life. He never knows wat it means a loss of innocent lives.
I kno stories of policemen torturing innocents to accept for uncommitted crimes, but in this case, the method suggested would have definitely yielded results.

Poor australians.

Indian patriotic, y drag religion? Black sheep is there in every community. Dont give community color my learned friend.

Do you believe that?

Do you believe rediff chating? Did you enquire about this chat?

If you have the dareness then copy this and take out the print outs then submit in police station. Tell him that you want to sue Haneef.

Plz my educated friend how come you believe on rediff.

Why not bbc, cnn,Ausi channel and others posted this why this rediff doing this. Did you ever wonder? I think not at all. It it was against any hindu friend then you everbody would have barked by saying some mischief person are blaming.

If you are really true Indian then Find the roots, go to meet Haneef and his lawer and ask the queries.

just barking here it is not good dude. you'll feel happy by taking out u r heart feelings by revealing messages but not the fact.

Thanks

Jai HInd.

Haneef Innocence
by on Aug 01, 2007 01:10 PM  Permalink

IT is neither new nor incriminating, but Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews is becoming desperate.

His bid late yesterday to escape the political noose by citing a nebulous internet conversation as the basis for Mohamed Haneef's incarceration, and ongoing demonisation, is as flawed as the policing and prosecuting that preceded it.

On the material disclosed by Andrews yesterday, Haneef is guilty, but not of terrorism.

He is guilty of being extremely perceptive and fearful of the probability that he would be wrongfully framed in Australia for giving away his mobile phone SIM card, a year earlier, to his second cousin, Sabeel Ahmed in Britain.

Haneef is also guilty of receiving an internet chatroom message from his brother Shoaib in Bangalore, who was concerned that the family's sole breadwinner would be unjustly linked to the failed terrorism plots in London and Glasgow because of the connection to the SIM card.

But we already knew this. Haneef had volunteered it to the police in his first interview on July3, a record of which was subsequently leaked to The Australian.

He had told police he was worried about being framed over the card, and that he had tried to contact a British counter-terrorism police officer four times before trying to board a flight to India on the evening of July 2.

And he told Australian police in that first interview how Ahmed's mother had been concerned that the police discovery of the SIM card, which had once been in Haneef's

ATS a step in a right direction
by Old Monk on Aug 01, 2007 01:03 PM  Permalink

The Karanata CM acted in haste,by offering Govt job and literaly giving clean chit, relying on a shoddy investigation by Aus.

Now with new evidence proping up in the form of online transcript,it is premature to declare him innocent, finally the ATS is doing its job.Better be safe than feel sorry later.

Now the Bangalore police are jumping on the bandwagon
by Miharika on Aug 01, 2007 12:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Bangalore police are now harassing Haneef based on an Australian politicians remarks. The Australian prosecution authorities would never have dropped the charges against Haneef if they felt there was any substance in the politicians allegations. This material was first available to the prosecutors, before being passed on to the politician. Since when have a politicians views usurped the legal opinion of a prosecution authority ? But then why should the B'lore police miss out a chance to extort money from Haneef, so as not to 'harass' him?

Indian muslims are sufferring
by Aftab on Aug 01, 2007 12:23 PM  Permalink

True. But why ? When they started indulging in such activities? Who gave them arms and money and for what purpose? Why all muslim terrorist have roots in Pakistan? Why 99.99% Indian muslims are averse to such killings? These are broader issues and must be debated with fairness.

Besides the innocent lives that has been lost for no fault of theirs, the muslim community of India is the worst sufferer and they are being looked with suspicion all over the world.

Indian muslims paid heavy price of partition of India on communal lines and faced humiliation and all sorts of abuses in the last 60 years. With enough patience and with our good behaviour we reduced the venom of hatred to large extent.

Then came Babri masjid issue that increased the rift again. Courtesy the some politicians belonging to Hindu and muslim society who found this golden opportunity to grab lime light.

This was followed by blast after blast that rocked muslim shrines, Hindu temples and parliament besides the train, buses and market place. This has again put the muslims on the backseat.

We want that the terror attacks should be stopped at all cost.

Instead of targetting India & elsewhere the Pakistani mujahideen should do introspection of how much they have desisted from the path of Islam and how much damamge they have done to causes of the muslim living peacefully in other parts of world.

If they want to conqour the world, they should go for education and not for using bombs and rifl

First of all dont compare haneef and sanjay, Haneef never even touched a gun , yes he was related to kafeel&sabeel as cousin. If your cousin has committed murder and if the police charge you also for murder , dont you feel victimised.Till now after so much thorough investigation nothing has come out.Terrorism is not related to religion you should know better. In india we are having 22-25 crores muslims but no one are involved in terrorism activities, we are all living in normal societies as any one else,These terrorist activites are done by other national people about some disputed territories with out country. There is no support for groups like these since independence.
In india my brother, there has been many bickering between communities about something or other, there has been naxal movement in full seing, In nagaland, assam, mizoram there are different communities perpurating terrorist acts but they are not labelled as terrorists.
Under International things, these so called western powers want oil and meddle with these nations, support israel snatching lands of palestinians, attacking iraq&afghanistan nations wihtout any acts of these antions against them. How can these displaced people resent their anger just by these acts.No one warrants these terrorists acts not even islam or any religion. All killings should be stopped no matter what, we should not support any terrorist activities as in the same breadth we should not label a community.Hope you have got some lessons my frien
