I have not come across any preident, since my college days, 1980s, who had the time to motivate its citizens towards prosperity. No family,so no nepotism. Wisdom in the celestial objects, hence no mean valeus. He is the right choice. Somnath chaterjee would also make a good president, for the support of his party. With the partys support, he may be an aggressive president and give more head ache to the law makers.
Kalam is the best choice. I agree that he should not be taking so long to reject mercy petition of Afzal. BJP supports Kalam because overall he has been a good President. What is the alternative, the old communist hags like Jyoti Basu and Somnath Chatterjee?
Kalam is so much better than these anti-India communists.

Fool he is not authorised to punish him and he has said the law and justice of the land will prevail. this is as much indicator. Also, when u have great netas who are hell bent on politicising issues and protecting criminals, wut else can u expect? We reap as we sow. Besides, its irrelevant to his nomiation for second term. I suggest, let Dr. Manmohan Singh retire next month and make him President. Anyways, he has hardly any work as PM.
