1. It explicitly creates irrational hierarchy among Indians which is against Article 14 2. Parents covertly teach their children to coerce other children as per the caste hierarchies.

Well said.The best way to solve all problems of India is to embrace anew religion called "Constitutionalism". This new religion is founded by me and I am its Prophet.This has nothing to do with God. All my followers will abide by the following principles: 1.Thou shall not follow me bilndly or have blind faith in me. 2.Thou shall reflect on what I say and believe it only after testing it on the anvil of logic and reason. 3.Thou shall have the right to differ with me and point out if I am wrong. 4.Thou shallst disown verses of the Quran which preach hatred against non-muslims and ask muslims to fight and kill non-muslims and are thus against modern constitutional values. 5.Thou shall reject those verses of Hindu scriptures which preach inequality of castes and promote caste based on birth and thus are against modern constitutional values. 6. Thou shall reject those verses of Quran/Manu Smriti or any other scriptures which make deraogatory references to women and preach inequality of men and women and thus,violate constitutional values. 7. Thou shallst disown and oppopse all verses of all religious scriptures which go against the Constitution, Science, reason and logic. 8. Though shallst campaign against publication of scriptures such as Quran (which incites muslims to hate non-muslims and contains derogatory references to women) and Manu Smriti(which preaches casteism and contains derogatory references to women)
Hindus cannot be united against injustice until castism is removed from India.
It is upto the so called 'higher caste', especially the Brahmins to abolish any form of castism from Hinduism.
Merely blaming politicians for everything is not a solution. Why are we being hypocratical? We tell muslims to correct wrong teachings within Islam but have done little to abolish castism within India. Merely saying that the scriptures doesnt talk about caste/varna etc is not enough, my brothers. If the religion has not created it, but the people following it have then it is upto the same people to abolish it.
Any normal person can reason that caste system "based on birth" was created by the so called higher caste, in order to maintain their status in society. Every indian should work to abolish it..but more so the brahmins. Instead of blaming reservation..which itself is bad..abolish castism itself..where is the question of reservation then?
Some simple ways of abolishing it although there might be more ways
1. Make it illegal to ask anyone or mention in any document ones caste 2. Ban mentioning caste while seeking marriage proposals in newspaper/websites. 3. Anybody should be able to be a priest not just a brahmin 4. Ban surnames that identify with caste
Unless these things are done with serious efforts and just given lip service... or one or two symbols of abolishing caste..forget about any form of national unity...Brahmins wake up!
