by mahesh paramasivan on Apr 30, 2007 10:29 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

dear all,
the country is going to dogs, politicians are only interest in making money, they dont care for the uplift of the country and not even its natural habitats, and hence we find the tigers disappearing, the day is not far off when all the tigers will go out and it will be grate ful if all the politicians also disappear

Why we cannot protect Wild Animal 9Tiger) in India
by bhupesh tandon on Apr 30, 2007 10:25 AM  Permalink

Poverty is the main cause, which leads to corruption and greedyness. If poverty and corruption is removed than Wild anmals are safe. The reason is poachers are not from very good financial background and they hunt for money, this result in bribing Forest officials which dont have nay moral duty towards country and Animals. Secondly this country is not united here people are not bothered about Coountry, they are worried about them selves and themselves alone.for this they can do anything. This is not with poor people but everyone living in this country i.e. Politicians, Police, GOvt. Dept, Law etc

The law of cause and effect
by Lakshmanan Ramaswamy on Apr 30, 2007 10:18 AM  Permalink

Friends!! It is sad when a majestic animal like tiger is fighting for survival.

Time and again history has proved that unconcern for other lives, which is selfishness to the core, brings one's own destruction. In the Ramayana, Sage Vashishta advises Lord Rama that it is the duty of the king to protect not only the subject of his state but also all natural resources which include flora and fauna. Otherwise you are inviting trouble for your kingdom.

Isn't it an apparent paradox that the highest evolved creature called 'man' does not hesitate to exploit nature for his personal gains where as all other creatures who do not have thinking capacity fall in line with nature quite naturally.

Every creature has right to co-exist in this world. Merely possessing intelligence does not justify inhuman actions of humans.
