They meekly surrendered in 1971 war.In all, 96,000 people ( army & Civilian) surrendered. This is still a record,a record of cowardness for Pakistan and bravery for India.They can never get Kashmir and I doubt in decades to come will they able to hold their states like Baluchistan and Sindh.

the solution to Kashmir 1. Let the present border be the permanent line of control. 2. Wage a war and wait for the final results. 3. Merge India and Pakistan, with Muslims peacefully on one side and Hindus on one side, with 2 prime Ministers and 1 President.

This whole stuff is a real estate problem, with an eye on the tourism income and strategical importance, But we leaders in India and those in Pakistan, have very little or no concern of those families living in Kashmir, effected badly by partition and now terrorism

I do not understand why people need to fight for a piece of land at the cost of the Peace of the land.
