I am very proud of Doctors at Wockhardt.I live in US for some years now but believe me though US has lots of technology and machinery but the medical system here are very expensive and not reliable to satisfaction.India has very good doctors compare to US.Already US people are going to India for better treatment like Apollo and Wockhardt. If India can get the medical technology what US has India can become a safer destination for many people around the globe.Doctors in US do not really go out of the way to save patient at any cost but doctors in India are more sincere and professional and most ofthe times they surprise dying people by bringing them back to life.Its indeed a proud moment for Indian doctors.
Rediff -- For all other stuff, u guys give BIG BIG catchy headlines and have ir-relevant stuff underneath.
For news like these, u guys dont put catchy headlines. The headline does not reveal that the surgery was performed in India and that it was rejected in US.

This same Wochardt also has another side which is of terrible negligence. My friend's mother who was otherwise healthy but for a heart problem went walking into the hospital and never really got to walk before she died a few months later after surgery in Wochardt Bangalore. The doctors simply did not know what exactly they did wrong and refused responsibility. Not only that, they hounded this family for money (3.5 Lakhs was paid and they wanted another 1.5 Lakhs) even though the surgery was a total failure. Unfortunately in India the leagl system is in such shape that hospitals like Wochardt can get away with it. To anyone considering going to Wochardt--beware.
Great Work! Congrats to all of you. I bow my head for all of you. You made India proud. Keep up the good work. Only thing our doctors are missing is some latest gadgets. The quality of the doctors I believe is much better than many developed country doctors.
INDIA IS FAR AHEAD IN MEDICAL FIELD COMPARED TO OTHER COUNTRIES. DOCTORS OF THOSE COUNTRIES LACK EXPERIENCE AND DONT TAKE RISKS.. AND BASICALLY LESS BRAINS..GOOD WORK DONE!...ONCE AGAIN CONGRATS..PROUD TO BE INDIAN!!!!!
