Priyanka, I appreciate your statement 'freedom from the politics of caste and hatred.' Can we hope you will remove arjun singh and also see to that reservation is abolished for higher studies? Or it is just a political statement?

Nehru-Khan-Gandhi Dynasty: Jawaharlal Nehru was the first prime minister of modern India, and he ruled the country from 1947 to 1964. Mrs. Gandhi was born on November 19, 1917 to Jawaharlal and Kamala Nehru. She was named Indira Priyadarshini Nehru. She fell in love and decided to marry Feroze Khan, a family friend. Feroze Khan%u2019s father, Nawab Khan, was a Muslim, and mother was a Persian Muslim. If Indira Nehru were to marry a Muslim she would loose the possibility of becoming the heir to the future Nehru dynasty. At this juncture, according to one story, Mahatma Gandhi intervened and adopted Feroze Khan, gave him his last name (family name/caste name) and got the name of Feroz Khan changed to Feroz Gandhi by an affidavit in England. Thus, Feroze Khan became Feroze Gandhi. Though Mahatma belonged to Bania/Gandhi caste (a business tribe) the proposal was acceptable to Nehru for political reasons. Indira Nehru married Feroze (Khan) Gandhi in 1942 and became Indira Gandhi, which helped her politically as daughter of Nehru (the first Prime Minister of the Indian Union) and daughter%u2013in-law of Gandhi (the father of the nation) securing her place in the future Nehru-Gandhi dynasty (based on swordoftruth.com).
Why just her, the whole family who r using the Gandhi surname after doctoring the real one to cheat the nation... all of them should leave the surname or be stripped of it

Dear Rajendra ... majority of indian voters are illeterate & they benefit from them by projecting themselves as the legitimate heirs of mahatma gandhi ... got it now ...
Iam not looking into Sonia's Italian Background,im not looking into her russian connections as said by Dr Subramaniom Swamy... But India Should be ruled by those who are Indians by birth....We went under East India Company because there was no unity among the kings..the same scenario should not happen

Dear Jay they keep adopting this mane even when they are not Gandhi's so what can be done ... there real name is not Gandhi at all ... by a simple affidavit in court with the help of Mahatma Gandhi ... they have adopted this surname & call them selves hindus ..
