Before starting such a big project, first remove corruption from Bihar. The students who will be coming to study in the University should feel safe and secure. One more point the University should not force to take subject on any particular relegion like buddhisam, jain etc. I dont know what Rediff does with all these messages. But I am posting the message in hope that it will reach to correct prerson.

yes don't worry. it has reached the correct person. I will do something about this.
Hurrah to our ancient wisdom. Asia and India in particular was the seat of ancient civilisation. It is very heartening to know that such a ancient abode of learning is being resurrected again.
Our elders have already proved to the world that we are one of the best brains in the world. Let us prove once again that we are the best. Long live Indian wisdom. Indira Gopinath.
What abt the basic schooling? Nothing wrong in bringing this up & running again. But prior to it...where we are standing even today when it comes to class 1-5 education...better government should emphasis more on that rather then again starting a new project and leading no where!!!

It has already started man. Already this year 1000 placements were done alone in Patna university that too in companies like TCS, ITC and wipro. for your information, Bihar has ebcome the first state of India which has done mass level admissions of extremely poor children. ALso they did recruitment of 2 lakh new teachers and specialy endorsement for girl children whom they give food, uniforma and bike on admission to schools. you need to have a look over real news instead of listening the the negative media which is easiest ting to do. You tell me yourself how much you know about the news from rest of India except metros? Bihar is already changing that too very fast. have faith in it's new government. They are really doing a lot. The CM himself works for 18 hours.

Yes Rohit you r right !! Bihar is changing fast !! Rather than pulling the leg of new governement, we should appreciate the good work being done by them.
I am abroad for last 5 years.I have lost touch with the developments that are happening in Bihar in recent times.I will be glad if someone can summarize it.Thanks in advance

Thanks Rohit for the feedback...But you didn't get my point. I am not talking about Bihar here in particular...I am taking a more generic situation over all...Like u love India...I am also a proud Indian...Rather then getting emotional over a particular state or place...look at the bigger picture and U will realize the facts...it's not abt media or 18 hrs from CM...it's abt US as India...
Guys ! Now the time has changed its a long time back story, now nalanda University is nowhere, the time has changed dramaticaly emagine that time Bihar and today Bihar can not make the freat University even the same it was before. today bihar is looking for just two times food for living and no one secure about his life total GUDARAJ all over its to early to expact the great thing to be happen its just Impossible in Bihar.

What about the Kidnapping, smegling, Murders just for nothing may be few rupees and why the most hardworking Biharies are leaving Bihar, the education & money is only for above well middle class people what is for those who are living below the poverty line which is mostly i Bihar.

The trend has fallen drastically. yesterday itself many CEOs did meeting with CM to start projects. 2,7000 crore investment has already occured. Just within 18 months, several new implementations, policing, education policies have been launched. This is changing every day. Got it? I suggest you to have some real informations instead of casual negative media from TV. Do you have any stats of state in past few months? your central government withdrwas CRPF from naxalite zones in order to do duty in UP polls. Why don't you look there? Central governmetn approved 4 damns on Ganga in UP, killing water supply to whole eastern region still our farmers are producing more than UP guys. Our single district Begusarai alone produces more wheat than Punjab without any facility! For all these ill who is responsible man? And evena mid all these injustice when we are rising, you guys ahve gone so blind that u dont see anything and start rattling some old lines which don;t stay even valid in this new Bihar. Don't you see difference in 300 30? 15 years and 16 months? If government department has become active by 40% in 18 months, can't you understand the trend and expect the situation after 5 years? This is why I told you understand the process of change. Things change slowly start from 1 and end at 100 only after crossing 20,35,50 like numbers. But surely when change is there have heart and mind to acknowledge it and eye to see it.

to come to 100 you need to start counting from 1 and pass through 20,30,40,60. It is not the same old Laloo Bihar. The new government si doing a lot perhaps more than your stats government. First collect information before writign anything. If you say that it's not the same Nalanda, then how can you ignore the fact that it's not the same Bihar which lalu harboured. And in this project, not only Bihar government is involved, it has central government and other countries too. So please don't talk like an idiot.
Who will go to study and teach there?. People are afraid of even going to Bihar. This could be only good to people those must have started eyeing for making scam out of this project. Piyush

If your house roof is damaged..would you continue with the broken roof or repair it? your statement shows a general laid back lazy attitude of Indian public who are cynical for nothing and deserve corrupt politicians. certainly for revolution not even your kidn of eye is required, leave efforts. Bihar is changing that world is knowing. Change is not a overnight process but it happens slow. The corrupt Bihar which you were citing also did not occur in single day and for it every citizen is responsible including central government which neglected it always. So if Bihar can slowly creep into darkness in 15 years it can also come in light in 15 years. And let me tell you already Bihar has become model state in many sectors like job generation, policing and education. Have a head to absorb some daily news from that corner too which feeds you.

Good reply Rohit, keep it up! There is no point in being negative and you can not improve situation by becoming negative. In fact Bihar's situation was not so bad when India got independence but slowly detoriorated. However, according to very well repuated study publishd in India Today, last year Bihar was the fastest improving state in India. Sure, it will take some time to catch up with more prosperous states but is is a good beginning and Nitish Kumar should be appreciated for his efforts.

rohit.desi & satyajit i m fully agree wid u realy ex govt of bihar was totaly rulling through thair gundas and all the ex minister were looting bihar by both hands.they have not done anythings for developments of bihar insteed of developing they have looted.and sent bihar to 18th century.now the persent govt.is doing somthing for bihar it will take time to come back form 18th century to 21st century.it is not so easy how people r talking.but the central govt is not supporting to bihar govt due to differant govt.even though they r doing somthings.may god bless the govt.

In the past 200 years I cannot recollect anything having been destroyed by Muslims in the country.......Yes we need to be wary of Bajrang Dal etcetc in the current scheme of affairs.....

very easy to ask this question and escape... Bajrandal and RSS only destroyed an illegal structure built by invaders on a structure that was built by people of this land.. They did not go to Mecca and demolish something there to build a temple...
33% of India is now under control of Islamists who purged all non-Muslims from there - what you call Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Lahore, Dhaka, Karachi were major cities where 75-80% Business, property, Jobs were owned by Hindus, Sikhs. Now there is not even a single burial ground for Hindus.
Eminent Scientist Meghnad Saha spoke about how 75-80% Dhaka City whose business, property, Job were owned by Hindus were taken over, in a speech INSIDE INDIAN PARLIAMENT.
Right now, 400,000 Hindus driven out from Kashmir.
If you can;t see these, then you are wearing a big green sunglass !
Its the worst kind of economic loot, forceful acquisition of properties in the world history.

My friend ur worng. Mahmood Gajnavi destroyed Nalanda university and millions of books, scripts stored in the library were burnt by him. He destroyed Somnath temple. Auranzed destroyed thousands of temples. Talibanis destroyed BUDDHA statute in Afganistan. Yes u can say in past 200 years not much has been destroyed. But when they were in power (200 years ago) Muslims destroyed every good thing in our country. And not in our country but everthing around the world.

Partition cannot be blamed on any community....Muslims in India lost so much of population to Pakistan & Bangladesh which is critical in democracy.....and if Muslims can have the courage to live in Gujarat and Mumbai after so much of battering I think the Kasmiri pundits should learn from this....but let me tell you they don't have the heart to do so.......
Yes, Ansari Bhai: Hindus are learning very fast from Muslims. And they are becoming rubble rouser, quarrellsome, someone who start street fight at drop of a pin - all learning from Muslims.
That's why Nehru wrote in Disovery of India, that Hindus of north India are more aggressive (when compared with Southern India) because north Indians endured long oppressive Muslim rule in the North.
Kashmiri Pandits will pay back Valley Muslims by the same coin withon decades. Just watch.

Hindus are peace loving people. Hindus have still not become barbarians like muslim terrorists of kashmir. That's why muslims are able to live in India.
No other community can become as barbaric and inhuman as yours.

Yes in the past 200 year muslim hasn't destroyed anything, but before that they have destroyed a lot and tortured so many people in India. They have also converted so many people into muslim. You are one of them. We cannot forget all these things.
