Hail the SUPREME COURT !! The only entity in our system with a spine !!!
by on Apr 24, 2007 09:53 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am agahst by this despicable man Arjun Singh. The logic he presented to the honourable court was that the number of seats to the General students would not be affected, so they should have no reason to complain.

These idiots and shameless politicians. If you have the capacity to increase seats in any educational institution then why should you not give that benefit to general students ? I am a passout of IIM Calcutta and I took admission through CAT 2004, at that time around 1.2 Lakh General students gave the CAT and now in CAT 2006, 1.8 Lakh General students gave CAT. A 50% increase in applicants but have the seats been increased to keep up with such a rise. NO.

This Gandhi family is the most evil and power hungry people I have ever heard of. Our PM is their puppet and I am ashamed of these people who govern our country.

General students/classes suffer because they vote on basis of issues and not on basis of caste. THey are not united and thats why parties like Congress ignore and torment us. Come the next general elections and lets unite and vote out this caste diving party from seat of power.

Long live the judiciary...

Vipin Gupta

If the Government feels that the OBC is econonmically backward then they need to give their children scholarship and not reservation. Merit should be the judge and not the caste.

MY OPINION IS ,THE GOVT.SHOULD HELP ALL SC,ST AND OBC STUDENTS OF INDIA TO JOIN THE BEST MANAGEMENT AND INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL FREE OF COST AND SHOULD GIVE ALL SUCH STUDENTS RS.10000/-(RUPEES TEN THOUSAND ONLY) EACH TILL THE END OF THEIR EDUCATION UP TO POST GRUDATION.THEN ONLY SUCH PEOPLE CAN COMPETE WITH HIGH CASTE AND RICH PEOPLE OF INDIA. RESERVATION SHOULD BE STOPPED.NO DOUBT.I THINK EVERY ONE WILL AGREE. I WISH TO KNOW THE OPINION OF BJP AND RSS PEOPLE.

Targetting the indian population by integrating marxist dogmas, with racial dogmas has been the purpose since long.

One reservation targetted the hindu communalists to save muslims, thus land of pure was created by the Jinnah ( figure if he is sickularist or Islamist).

Here is my story
by RK on Apr 24, 2007 09:41 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Below is my story, 100% true. If any one doubt, you can go to my institute and get these information using RTI.

In 94 my father salary was Rs 1500 per months and he had to support family of 5.
I went to state government school, because education was almost free. I didn't know much about IIT JEE in school but came to know about it in XIth.

I didn't have enough money to even have normal tuition, forget about going to high class coaching. With my hard work and God wish, i was able to clear IIT JEE in 94. My father had very tough time supporting me during 4 years of my B.Tech. Fortunately I got merit-cum-means scholarship as my father income was way below cut-off income of Rs 40,000 per year.

One of my friends, OBC by cast, son of state electrical engineer got selected in state engineering college on the basis of reservation.

Now I ask here, why my father didn't qualify as backward class?
This is my story, forget about my father story. because if i tell here my father background, many people will have tears in their eyes.

This is one of the example of people suffring with wrong government policy. Even with the current reservationpolicy like 30% for obc, 30% for girls, 10%, govt. emplyoee, freedom fighter etc.... nothing is left for OPEN category. i remember my time. i missed engineering seat just by 1 mark and i denied to pay 60000 rs to principal of colleage (bribe). even today i m suffering in my career due to this. some one has to sort out this problem. we want no reservation in education. let the brillient student tk the seat. if our dirty politicians still want to continue with reservation then i will request all open category professionals not to give any service to this ministers. let obc ppl fly thier plans, let obc ppl operate and write prescription for them etc.......

RK, Best wishes. There are many such persons from all castes who have come up by merit and whose parents have made unbelievable sacrifices for the studies of their children. My father's income must have been one-tenth of your father's; and and I also completed my education with a merit cum means scholarship. A caring government must identify and support students from all communities - generous financial support, accessible schools, colleges and coaching institutions for all. All deprived classes must be encouraged to gain self respect. Reservation is not the route.

Pls put all your story and encourage this harmony in society,I belive people from cast comunity also would to have a change and they would like to call first rather then second,as the country's first PM to the chief ministers, which said: "I dislike any kind of reservation, more particularly in services. I react strongly against anything, which leads to inefficiency and second rate standards. I want my country to be a first class country in everything. The moment we encourage the second rate, we are lost."

This will be only possible if significant percentage of so called OBC cast come forward and reject this idea of reservation. I wish to live for that day.
They will come forward only when government provides free education, food, accommodation with tons of good quality schools. Once we have that, they will see the result and will reject this reservation.

Your statement has conflicting meaning. How do you define OBC? I think there is equal percentage of rich and poor in so called upper cast and OBC cast.
I didn't say I wanted my father to be included in backward class. I was just pointing out flaw in our reservation system.

What else is expected of a muslim, they are just waiting for them to be added to the OBC list. I think India is the only country where ppl compete to be called backward. The Islamic rule and British rule made Indians loose thier self respect and now they believe that they are inferior and whatever is thiers or belongs to them is always inferior in thier view, including thier own brains. I see Desis in US being respected for our work ethics, hard work etcc, but back home its a sad story of reservation, religion etcc.

Division in the society has existed and will exist. The option we have is to stop dividing on the basis of caste. Economic division is somthing that cannot be stopped. Reservation is needed but based on the economic situation of people.

RK: It was good to read what you had written. But believe me, you are able to say it coz you did it on your own, and not due to some reservation. Ask your OBC friend, I don't think he would be proud of his reservation based degree.

Thanks R K for posting this,I came from same background and my brother and I faced the same situation,In XIIth ,we both succussed with high percentage but I was not able to get Government colleges or REC because of stiff compition in Open category, and My brother has to go for other Medical instead of MBBS and ours SC ,ST and OBC frnd from our respective classes got admission not only on less percentage but in high perofile colleges instead of having less marks.
I asked question after graduation and PG,Should I continue my life in India in hands of corroupt politics and this so called cast system.I do not think I would allow this system to suffer my new generation and would respect this.

There are lot many peoples like you in our society.
But are you casting your vote regularly?
Mostly people like us not going for voting.

That's why such politicians will dare to do such a wrong thing. They only want votes. And for that, they will do any thing.

If you want to throw away this congress government (arjun singh, sonia, ...), you have to caste your vote regularly and to a best person out of present candidates :).

Put your story on all such forums.
So, backward caste people will also understand our problems. And they will support us.

We have to be united. And reservation should be only based on economic basis.
And that is also limited to by mostly giving full Scholarships.

If the Congress party thinks that they will benefit from this reservation issue, then they are mistaken. The backward caste people will vote for them or not I dont know but the forward class will certainly not vote for them. The sentiment amongst forwards are so much against them that even die hard congress supporters are finding it difficult to justify why people should support congress. And all this is due to one idiot. The congress leadership is so cut off from ground realities that it is going ahead with it and not realising that their future is doomed.

Dear Jha, please keep up your sentiments high upto 2009 elections of lok sabha and vote congress out of power. In my opinion, the problem with the educated people is that, we are very strong to express our anger on net or media but when it comes to stands in queues to cast our votes, we better opt for a picnic and avoid voting. Our politicians like arjun singh knows it very well. In up, total voting percentge till date is below 50%. who are these 50% voters. only poor people purchased by our politicians. Hence our voice on ent does not make any difference instead we must cast our vote to express our anger against such policies.
