i think she has the charisma of her grandmom. maybe charisma is the wrong word, but she looks like someone who will be easily acceptable to most classes, religions and idiologies. But does she have the fire in her to lead India?

you are being a bit over enthusiastic. Elections will come and go but these people will remain. And they will continue to rule us as they have been - since we the people are morons to be electing them. BTW i am not just speaking about the Gandhis alone - after all how different is any other party any way -- didn't we give the BJP a chance and what happend? :(
I am hearning these names (Priyanka & Rahul) only on election eve. They are comming from nowhere,making some hype during election & going back to their caves. Rediff & other news medias are projecting such megalomaniac peoples as heroes. They are selling Gandhi's fame for their own selfish purpose. Common peoples are already rejected them in our past elections & same thing is going to happen this time also.

US/ UK became US/ UK because of intelligent management of their resorces. We are what we are because we are not using out funds properly. dont blame our politicians only and dont start by blaming the system, what are we as individuals doing?

until the politician of the country have the will. india can never with the develop nation at all. iti s meaningless to request ot govt for the things to do. here is one example, people are protesting acroos the the corner for not implementing the OBC to premium institution. but govt is going against the citizen demands. what is it. is it total politics for vote. not for development. name any project which cempleted on time since the independence except metro rail in delhi.
