A Lesson UPA Government who had made Mischievous game in the name of OBC reservation now they will understand what is the power of Judiciary. Let them accept the verdict and you should not amend the law. THERE IS A LIMIT IF YOU EXCEED THE LIMIT BY PARLIAMENT THAN STARTS FIRE/DEMOSTRATION EVERY WHERE AGINST THE PARLIAMENT. WHY NOT GOVERNMENT SHOULD ACCEPT THE ORDERS OF HON. COURT. THE QUESTION IS 57 YEARS WHAT HAS BEEN DONE BY THE GOVERNMENT? WHY THEY HAVE NOT OPEN MORE SCHOOL/COLLEGES FOR THESE SECTIONS OF PEOPLE. SUDDELY THEY WAKE UP WHEN UP ELECTION WAS NEAR AND THEY WANT TO AMEND THE CONSTITUTION IN THE NAME OBC VOTE.
Scrap all reservations and go all out to help the poor with basic education irrespective of caste/creed. No body can object reservation for certain categories like families of armed forces. Recently Indian politicians have been acting with a vengence on the forward community. No body denies discrimination of weaker sections in the past. But this is not the correct solution in tampering with institutes of higher learning where only merit matters. You can not set right a past mistake by another mistake by dividing the community more and more on the basis of reservation.Who can convince our thick headed stupid rulers???

there are brutalites against upper caste too in bihar.. naxalites are lower caste people!! they started the "ARMS movement" and now to save upper caste there is ranvir sena.
Oye kamaal ho gaya si...At least Supreme court is not impotent as out dirty politicians (Sonia,Rahul,Arjun, VP singh, Ram vilas Paswan..long list) now the drama has begun ...see on TV all these Crap proc (politicians) will shed tears and will try to bring an ordinance to stop Supreme court for giving fair, futuristic decisions...Hats OFF Supreme court
it is by virtue of rulings like this one that a common man's faith in the Indian Judicial system gets a boost.... thnx a ton Hon'ble Supreme Court of India for protecting the interests of the real minorities (ie, the talented and meritorious ones) who can with the help of such judgments, strive hard to achieve their goals in the educational and professional fields.... ministers like Arjun Singh, stop this whole mockery of events and admit that whate'er u politicians do, are only based on vote banks and has nothing to do for the welfare of the AAM JANTA of India

It is absolutely incorrect to say upper caste people cannot do hard work.
Why creamy layer should continue to get the benefit of reservation. For e.g. children of people like Ram Vilas Paswan and Laloo Prasad Yadav, when their parents have amassed wealth sufficient enough for their next 3 generations?
I feel OBCs should be given the best possible education so that they can come up in life. To give them job on preferential basis and then elevate them further on Quota basis, is nothing but just depriving the deserving ones.
As for an upper caste man marrying a lower caste women, amongst OBCs themselves, they would not be marrying from one caste to another, so why should an upper caste man marry a OBC woman?

Well do u want that lower caste always remain so? Do you know that Dr. Ambedkar suggested that the reservation be gradually reduced?... Reservations should be at the lower-level education... first!! Equality should be created... not forced upon with logic defying concepts!

The argument is not against reservation, my dear friend; it is only to ensure that reservation is effective. The real benficiaries of the reservation at present are certain castes, the members of which, by virtue of their economic, educational, political and social status, do not need reservation at all. These castes referred to as "the creamy layer" are taking away the benefits of reservation from those people who really need it. This is what certain political parties are encoraging as they gain the favour of a large vote bank. People are being cheated by them and they do not even realise that. Secondly, a family or individual cannot be given the privileges of reservation for more than a certain number of generations. Otherwise, these people will want to remain and will remain permanently backward so as to enjoy the benfits of reservation. Most important, reservation beyond a certain level dilutes the quality of work everywhere. Imagine, if you or your kith and kin are given wrong medical treatment by unqualified doctors who have come in through reservation, will you accept it? Thanks and Regards, P.B.Mohan

you are supporting reservation because you cann't do hard work and is not able to get anything in your life by your ability. If you see national sample servery (it is the latest servey for indian population) then you will be able to know that OBC are in better position or equal to general category. General category population is more than OBC or equal to OBC. Only few people of general category is rich and same thing is true for OBC. We are fighting that u r from General category & i am from OBC/SC/ST and this is because of divide & rule policy of dirty politicians. If you want resevation for poor people of india then support financial based reservation,so every poor can get benifit from it. I know you will not support it because you know if this policy will come you cann't get a single seat anywhere beacuse you don't want to get anything by hard work,by your ability. you want everything like a beggar.

Who told u there is reservation for Upper class? If you dont know upper class people cannot apply in Quota where as lower class can apply in free quota.
Its these lower class people who cannot compete with anybody and always cry for reservations. Read the constitution where Dr. Ambedkar has clearly mentioned to give reservations only for 25yrs.
I have lost engineering free seat by 1 mark and a filthy loweclass got it who later got failed in all subjects 3 times and got debarred from university.
If you want to compete. compete on talent and not on cast.
Why dont you people ask for reservation in Indian cricket team and football team yar. 30% quota irrespective you have talent or not.

but please remember the SC has also said it would examine the plea for refrering the matter to a constitution bench. if such reference is allowed, what decision the larger bench would take is not taken. i think all rejoicing is premature. we must wait and watch at least for a few weeks.

The court will examine the facts.The govt is trying to fix the match without framing the rules & has paid heavy price for that.No one wish to deny seats to really needy who can't compete against the elite but the facts are that all benefits of reservations are now going to well off class in the reserved communities.It will be good for the nation if full bench do the final rites of this issue or else these scoundrels will continue to take the nation for a ride.The crowd of 550 jokers can't declare war against the constitution.
i dont knowwhat isthe strength of anti reservation population.
because all the data are skewed and govt is trying to polarize people for votes.
so in my mind we not only depend change our mind while voting but to show also that we will vote to perticularparty only because we dont like political stand on reservations.
though it may be 1-2 % votes for youth forequality.
but this party can help other candidates and we can vote for them. for once only to tell all that we too are voters and listen to us also.
