GOOD VERDICT! RAY OF HOPE IN INDIA'S DEMOCRACY LYING WITH SC ONLY!!!
by wani bhardwaj on Apr 23, 2007 05:45 PM  Permalink

It is a good verdict for the sake of India's integrity and democratic system. We are still not sure that these political outfits who are working on the basis of castists and religion politics will see the writing on the wall and instead of going for caste based reservation which is THE MOST DANGEROUS SWORD on India's integrity and democracy and instead adopt a progressive thinking for reservation ON THE BASIS OF ECONOMIC BACKWARDNESS. It is the only way to start nip in the bud of castist policies adopted by our political parties from 1947 onwards.

I can only say "Thank You SC. We can never forget you.
It is only because of our century old laidback attitude that we have been consistently ruled by Mughals, English and now by these sort of Politicians. Please not given to sigle vote to aboe Politicians the favour of OBC quota.

C'mmon Wake up India.

Good decision!
by Azharuddin Sajid on Apr 23, 2007 05:44 PM  Permalink

SC once again proved that it is SUPREME. I am not against the quota system, but the base on which the quots system based, caste or religion shudn't be the base, better keep the annual income as the base to decide the reservation. even in that case all the BCs, STs, SCs and some other FCs (whose annual income is less than that of some STs and SCs) will be included and that willnot be any objection to any one, either a party or a person.

for scocial justice dr ambedkar had provided for caste based quota to sc/st for 10 years. it is now 57 years and still quota system is going on. do u think he was a fool? also why creamy layer concept is not being recognised by the government? why should a rich person get the benefit of reservation? if reservation has to be there, it should purely be on economic criteria and not on caste basis.

Most of the OBC/SC or ST candidates come from those families that have availed the advantage of this act since independence. That is why UPA has filed affidavit in SC that creamy layer concept will lead to 75% of the seats will remain idle for want of candidates. This is the true face of the so called social justice provided by the leading party of UPA since independence. They now have a Jaichand as HRD minister & Yashwant Sinha coined charracter from mahabharat as PM to strike at the very foundation of the nation.

its great ruling from the supreme court, after 57 years of independence,we came long way with progress in all sectors,we should not go back plying in the agenda on reservations.Reservations was planned for 10 years, which is still being practiced blatently,if reservation has to be given it has to go to weaker sections ,economically extremely backward irrespective of their caste creed or religion,

Great ruling long live our courts and democracy

JK

dO YOU FEEL IT WILL HELP IN ANY WAY, WHEN ALL THE PARTIES ARE HAVING A UNANIMOUS APPROACH ON THE ISSUE. tHERE SHOULD BE PLEBICITE ON SUCH ISSUES ONLY THEN ANY AMENDMENT SHOULD BE PERMITTED IN THE CONSTITUTION.

SECONDLY THE CREAMY LAYER SHOULD BE SEGREGATED FROM RESERVATION

THIRDLY WHEN ONCE PERSON HAS TAKEN THE BENEFIT OF RESERVATION HIS CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN THE BENEFIT OF RESERVATION

FOURTHLY THE RESRVATION SHOULD BE BASED ON ECONOMIC CONDITION AND NOT ON CASTE
