I have not known anyone as hypocritical and as shameless as Mr Singh. He always lives in a state of denial. He thinks we have just forgotten all that he and his party has done and has been doing to divide our society and have always religion as a trump card to win all the election.
I am ashamed of the fact that he is seen as one of those intellectually great fellow who happens to be in Politics. He should rather be viewed in the same light as anyother politicians, say Laly, Mayawati, Mulayum. At least these folks can claim to be like this all along. Mr Singh seems to be working behind a veil of an educated person with pride and principles.
But it is clear to all of us now that he is as bad as any in Indian politics.

Hi Ajay You are right he is outrightly SHAMELESS apart from Cunning, Corrupt Non-ethical
However, he should tell this to his party president who wrote last week separately to Muslims in Urdu, to party president's kid Rahul who is busy propagating that his family is the safest bet for Muslims (though he does not say it about himself - may be he is also aware of his worth), to his government (I am presuming that his government does not run according to his wishes) which appoints commeties to find out social and economic conditions of Muslims only, and the Prime Minister (Presuming that MMS and PM are two different persons) who said that Muslims have the first right on national resources.
He could give this message to his party which has been using religion for electoral gains for last 60 years. Who are we to allege this. Congress' own booklet says so.
He should tell the nation about other issues which should not be used for getting votes.
a) family connections - over ninty percent of current leaders of congress are sons / daughters / relatives of earlier leaders and are proud followers of party president b) Reservations / caste - Arjun Singh may like to benefit from this.
He is in the best position to tell us from his experience in Congress as they are the champions on using every issue other than real issues of education, healthcare, electricity, water, inflation, good governance, justice and fairness.

Dear Mr. Nameless,
It does not matter which religion is good / bad. You may have your own issues with Hinduism and you are entitled to an opinion. It can be debated for another thousand years.
The issue here is asking for votes based on religion and then lecturing others about it.
The Major Difference between Congress & BJP is 1) Congress is "Divide & Rule" 2) BJP is "Kill & Rule" After 50 years of Congress rule atleast India is a Democratic Country, if BJP would have ruled India for 50 Years, then it India would have been a Notorious State of the World..

Congree policy of Divide and rule is responsible for all killings. Congress started reservation on caste and creed which is exploited by other parties to divide and kill opposition.

In 1940s the muslims targetted the congress, and they separated and devided to rule themselves. Still the hatredness against hindus hasn;t gone away.
brave words from our puppet of a PM warming the seat for Rahul. And that too from Congress who uses the religion card as and when it wants. May be what he wants to say it that it is ok to ask votes from Muslims, Christians, Sikhs but not from Hindus in name of religion. Or is it something else in name of "minority" welfare?
