Thats great, however, I regret that India's military/govt setup is the most wierd I have ever seen, which makes the military useless. The military takes orders from the government. Its like a Lion taking order from a Donkey. Free our Lions. Let the Indian Military become independent like the USA. Free the military!!!!

Be careful with what you wish for! Civilian primacy in policy making is always the best method. Yes our lions are shackled a bit but its for the best. Our lions are lion enough to do a fantastic job whenever called upon. It only makes their job that much more pride worthy

Honourable Vajpayee's situation was very bad during the Kargil war and he had to decide not to cross the border. If Pakistan comes for a war next time, we will straight away capture Karachi. And we will never leave them without vacating from inside our border. Just waiting to see that!!! This Indira failed to acheive in 1971, but this time we know ourselves and we know what to do. Just waiting for them to come out.

Yeah we know what their superior PATTEN TANKS, SABRE JETS, PHANTOM JETS WERE PATHETICALLY DEFEATED BY INDIAN AIR FORCE AND THE ARMY. THE PAKIS EVEN FORGOT THAT 92,000 POWS WERE USED TO BUILD OUR ROADS IN BIHAR FOR 2 YEARS . ONLY AFTER SIMLA PACT THEY WERE RELEASED!!

Unfortunately we have people like MUNIR KHAN in India ...WHY DONT THEY GO TO PAKISTAN!!
Nodoubt this is a good achievement. However I will really be happy only when the missile is handedover to the Army in usable condition as quickly as possible. We take many years to actually handover the tested missiles to the Defence forces, in the meantime our perceived enemies inducted more sophisticated missiles in their Defence forces. We need to drastically reduce the time gap between sucessfull testing and actual induction of the tested missiles into the Defence forces. Till then let us keep our fingures crossed. Let us not jump in the air!.
Many of them are LEAVING the DRDO and ISRO because of PATHETIC SALARIES. Please in this occasion give them a good hike comparable that of software guys. These scientists in DRDO-ISRO are well qulified and selected from the university/college toppers thru several tests. traet them equally..give them a good paycheck and make them happy -they are BACKBONE of india's power.
