I think she's right on. And look carefully at her image. What other woman politician in India with short hair could succeed in politics? That's a significance of the dalit base.

The custom of having separate utensils for the servants, is not due to the Caste system nor is limited to India. The practice prevalent world-over in the households of the affluent who can afford having servants. It is mainly due to the Master-Servant connection and partly to maintain personal hygiene

Remove "Caste" remove "reservation" and provide equal opportunity to all. The same scooling across the country. Equal education/healthcare and remove bias. One can not ask for removal of quota unless caste is removed. Why India did not choose china type of governence/commuisam..etc? One can not simply ask for removal of quota system with out asking for removal of ugly beast(Caste). Ugly beast has ruined India for thousands of yrs. One can not simply ask for removal of reservation without looking at what the crap(Caste) did thousands of yrs in India. This thing,caste, does not exist anywhere in the world. usually some countries copy some good things from other countries. But nobody(no country) copied Indian ?te system because its totally inhman and worse.

Total change is needed in India, if India is really tobe saved. Why people have caste in their names(as tiles) like patel, reddy,yadav, bachhan, Rao...etc. For social Identity people use it. Does it really require now???

Both will go if educated youth enter politics as though there is an urgency like how people helped each other in mummbai floods couple of yrs back and tsunami in chennai.
Politicians should have some retirement age. In India if a person enters politics He.she will never quit unless disability or death makes them so... In U.S all presidents were below 60yrs except one or two. What abt in India??
If caste and corruption exist in means its all people problem in India, its not the problem of politicians? common person in India is not honest and sincere. He/she does not want to do anything yet they want system to be changed.
Mr Patel still today the caste disparity is there and its becoz of mentality of people like u. If some people are poor and is exploited by a bunch of people, these people then should have the guts and courage to accept that. What i would rather say is that more of dalits are innocent and uneducated( Thanks to upper class people). But now the situation is changing in certain parts of india but still in other parts the condition is more or less is same. Where ever the dalits has raised their voices, the upper caste people could not accept that and the situation has gone violent there. We are talking of seience, technology, automation etc Our mentality(Brahmins) has progressed a lot on other things, but when it comes to Dalits they are still the Rogues. U have given example of Britishers ruling the Indians. I m very much sure that the day will come which will bring the end of era which is dominated by Brahmins same as Britishers were thrown out. I personally never against any upper cast people but when i read the comments of Mr Patel, i thought its my duty to open the eyes of such narrow minded people which are danger to society.
let me tell you guys something practical in life.if u think brahmins rulled and they made dalits poor,then its dalits problem not brahmin.if we were rulled by british it was because of our fault not british.can u imagine 1 lakh british rulled 30 crore indian and we were duffer.not only then but still now also,80% of our population comprise of hindu but still we are not able to built hindu temple at ayodha.this show how pathetic we are.so do one thing put up or shut up.
This story tells us exactly how painfully irrelevant politicians are to the actual affairs of the country. The gentleman mentioned here may be well intentioned, he may even do his work sincerely but for how long once he realises that crores of rupees can be made and power will come with it? He has not found anything wrong with paying to be part to the party, will he consider being paid later on? Brahmin or non, the end result is what counts, when will we learn this?

The current status is you are dividing and we wish to be united. The North East states have been exploited by people from out of state who have reduced the acutal inhabitants to living a life of misery without a future for them or their children. They have been made to be foreigners in their own states! Obviously they cannot stand it any more, the government is like an absentee landlord, it wants the rent but will not do anything constructive/ repairs/ or remodelling. WIn desperation they resort to the most cruel of practises. Where is the government? In absentia it sends armed police who are from other states who do not understand the language even, to repress the people. Why not sit down and listen to their grieviances? This way the back door is open to foreign elements providing arms and exploit these poor people from the other side. Where is the government's control of foreigners coming to and living in India? You can bet that a Arunalchal Pradeshi will be more harassed by our own Indian forces than the fake Japanese tourist who comes to steal our flora and fauna. Similar problems are all over India. So now you know something what are you going to do about it?
Dhrama of todays mostof the politicans running this country is $ not rupee too.. so they will do any thing to get that dharma, they can change their wives too....so no particualr party is perfect..fernandes had share from purchase of coffins too (of course all of them share that they do follow dharma in this atleast i.e. sharing loot equally or as agreed upon)...so all r crooks..now we should stop all these elections i.e. muncipal / zilla parishad / assembly . we should have only loksabha election and M.P. should be responsible for its constiuncy for all development.. by this we will have fewer crooks, and also can save on election money..
