This is Crap verdict!
by gokul on Apr 19, 2007 08:03 PM  Permalink

What bullshit! Is this not adultery? Can a man then have a wife and bring another woman to sleep with him to his house?

I agree to this verdict with one addition....
by Venkata Subramani on Apr 19, 2007 07:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

1. I agree to this verdict with one addition..The woman should have got divorced and went with her lover. Now she had put her lover in a mess because he will be subjected adultery as per IPC.

2. The same rule cannot and should not applicable to men since in our culture women needs to fight for their rights whereas it is taken as granted for men. Further, if men too are subjected to this type verdict, then our country will face millions of women left to suffer by men who are selfish and looking for more pleasure without bothering the feelings of their wives...

3. My dear male friends who argue that this verdict to be applicable for men too...a small request...dont take this verdict to be favourable to to you...Think what will happen to our mother and sisters, if this verdict applies to men too..Hope now you will agree..

HI venkat , what about equality ? I do understand your thoughts about Mothers and Sisters but how come it is taken for granted that Fathers and Sons will not undergo equal or more agony ??

Dhruvswamini reborn.
by Ravindra Yadav on Apr 19, 2007 07:42 PM  Permalink

The famous writer Jaishankar Prasad in his play 'Dhruvswamini' has vividly presented that how an woman named Dhruvswamini deserted her coward husband to go with a man of character and able to provide due security to her.It is inhuman to keep a reluctant woman as wife.It is of no use either to run the house or produce a child from her without her love.

So !!!!!!!!
by Kanwar S Arora on Apr 19, 2007 07:32 PM  Permalink

In this case the question of Alimony stands null and void !! So if one man wants to live with his lover then he should not pay any Alimony to wife abd also should get an easy divorce without being harassed by unjust draconian Divorce Laws

Wife can leave husband for lover, says court
by Shivaji on Apr 19, 2007 07:23 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This law is just foolishness & its injust
When a man commit the same mistake then man is punished & whereas when women do the same then law say she is having full rights what a stupid law it is.
The women should be first allowed to take divorce then she can elope with his lover this way it is correct but been married and she eloped with her lover then she should be punished. It should be the same for man too.
In this way both Man and Women will have equal rights.

Elope and take divorce or Take divorce and Elope. Technically both are same, but emotionally way far different. Afterall emotional well being is the ultimate moksha in ones life.

What the hell are her parents of such women do?
If the enjoyed sex among them while they gave birth to this woman, they have every duty in this world to support her whether she is married or not. If they are not alive her siblings should support her. If she has no siblings state should support her. Why the hell should a man support her once he is practically no more a husband to her? If man got sex from her so did she from her husband. So why is she crying out loud that she should be given alimony/home/protection by her husband.

Law should be viceversa
by Vibhu on Apr 19, 2007 07:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I totally agree with this law. But the same should apply to husband also. If he wants to stay with his lover, the court should respect his decision.
