What about husband?? If he wants to live with other women he loves, he should be also allowed. Why MAN has to pay huge amount for divorce? It should be equal for both. If husband wants to live with other women he should also be allowed with out giving a penny to wife.
Check for all the MMS scandles, where is India going? Right from teen age kids wants to have BF/GF. Which leads to teen age sex. Even that is very disturbing and now with this decision court is wanting to disturb foundation of marriages..why??

The husband has to pay when he is the earning member of the family. He is depriving his legal wife of her rights. That is why he has to pay alimony. The wife, assuming she did not work, can obviously not pay HER husband alimony. And why are you writing about a man who wants to live with other women? how many women does he need?

You feminists...To hell with rights of wife when husbands and men are made to slog like a slave. Is it husband's sin to be a earning member of family. Why does not the bitchy wife go back to her parents and ask them for support. After all her parents enjoyed sex while she was brought into this world. Let them pay for what they did by bringing her into this world. As for husband if husband got sex from wife so did wwife get from husband and that is equal. Husband gets nothing from wife expect for continuous nagging and life long burden.

In that case, how many men a woman needs, Mr. Leyland? People talk about equality between men and women...so if a husband does not want to stay with his wife...he too should be given a right to stay with another woman...In this case, when a woman wants to stay with her ex lover, and if the husband has no other option but a divorce, then he need not pay the alimony cause, the woman is going to get the financial support from her ex lover...
here court issued judgement on the habeus corpus of detension. Husband filed the motion of illegal detension of wife. Here the question of morally right or wrong doesnot come. If he had a filed a case of adultery then it is different case. Then lover can be arrested and husband can give divorce on that grounds without alimony. But the wife eloping with the lover doesnot give to husband to file habeos corpus of kidnapping or illegal detension. Some bad lawyer helped him to file his case.
When filing a motion, think the realtion of the motion with the wrong u have suffered.
keep anything clean. do not leave a mess. divorce is an option. then go with any one opf ur choice. there is no ethics culture involved in this. least of all religion

Firstly you have completely confused the time line. The wife probably met the other man AFTER marriage. This can happen you know! Also losing respect in front of society is rubbish. Is your life important or what society thinks of you? Only fools give importance to outsiders who don't care about them anyway. If she remained in the marriage it could be adultery. Here this is not the case. Her husband thinking he is smart filed an abduction suit. The truth was different and the court has tuled correctly. Do you think just to keep your neighbours happy you should accept a miserable life with someone you cannot respect or love? Isn't divorce better? The husband too can probably find a better suited wife for himself. Why are you crying?

Yes, everybody should have freedom to choose whom they want to live with; however, woman or man should take divorce first before seeing another man or woman.
It's worthless living with a spouse who has somebody else in his/her heart.
